I do a lot of work in the day and most of the time it stretches all the way to the night. A new study came out that suggested that the human mind changes when we stay awake after midnight.

Mothers keep telling your children to not stay up pass their bedtime so they don't make it a habit. Researchers have a theory which they call the 'Mind After Midnight,'

It's a theory for now though but it is suggesting that our emotions and behaviors are different at night because of our body’s natural clock. You know that natural clock it has that says it's active during daytime and passive during night time because it should be at rest.

What they said was that at night, negative thoughts and feelings become even stronger, and when negative emotions are strong ut can lead to a greater risk of problems like substance abuse and maybe even as far as suicide.

I don't know if you've observed this but people usually feel more hopeless and lonely during late hours and not in the day time. S

Studies show people that stay awake late into the night are more likely to face serious mental health issues.

It's not a complete research which is even why they still call it a theory so more research is needed to understand how sleep deprivation and being awake at night affect our decision making in life.

I think this news is more important to be heard or seen by people who work at night. I think they might be at higher risk for these issues. If you have sleeping disorders, then you really need help from a doctor or pharmacist at least.

I had sleeping disorders since 2009. If this will lead to mental health issues, so be it.
