You can now turn your iPhone into nostalgic Blackberry

Don't you miss those Blackberry days? When having a QWERTY keyboard was as much a status symbol as a practical tool for firing off emails and texts with the speed and precision of a caffeinated court reporter.

We loved those tactile keys, the clickety-clack under our thumbs a comforting reminder that yes, we were indeed crafting a message, not just smudging our screens with fingerprints.

This tactile experience is what makes gaming consoles feel like a better experience than mobile gaming. I personally liked hearing the keys click and feeling the buttons. That's why on the old Nokia 3310 days I'd switch my keypad to the clicky type.

But as our phones' screens ballooned in size and their sensitivity sharpened, we bid adieu to physical keyboards, relegating them to the same tech graveyard as flip phones and dial-up internet.

We placed more emphasis on screen size.

Clicks Technology is staging a comeback for the QWERTY keyboard, but this time for the iPhone—a device that epitomizes the screen-centric era.

Clicks attaches to your iPhone with the ease of snapping on a case, promising a reunion with the tactile typing joy we thought we'd left behind.

It uses your phone's battery, so no need for a recharge. It's like it was meant to be there, supporting wireless charging and MagSafe, because who wants to live in a world where you have to choose between typing on actual keys and the convenience of modern charging? We want options!

In a world where we've traded clickety-clacks for taps and swipes, Clicks is offering a nostalgic nod with a modern twist.

I look forward to QWERTY getting a comeback, especially on Android devices. I use a mechanical keyboard by preference in my home workstation for the very same reason. And I hope we get these tactile experience back on other user experience designs as well!
