I can not understand why, once you purchase something it still does not belong entirely to you.
i hate this idea too. just be careful though.

I did some extra reading and found that even though a safe temperature for a lithium battery is about 35-95° f it is necessary to use at least 100° heat to release the adhesive that prevents people from opening a sealed device. All the more reason to get a temperature controlled hot air gun. It is my hope that through writing about what I learn of electronics I will be able to buy some equipment.
i still remember those days when batteries were removable.
