Hive Earnings: I ordered one Samsung Galaxy phone, I received two phones

Hi, Geek Zone community, it's my first time posting in this community. I am very excited about my new phone because finally, I can use the updated apps I've been using with my old iPad mini and old Android phone.

I felt so disgusted when the important apps I've been using for many years, I could not update it. Because with my old iPad mini, I need to have the newer iOS. Even though I tried to update my old iPad mini, it won't update anymore. Also, my old Android phone won't update to the latest operating system.

I can still use my iPad mini for browsing the internet and using the basics. I can still use it to check my e-mails.

With my old Android phone, I used to upload FB reels to join the content creator bandwagon but I stopped because my old phone has low memory.

Searching for a phone

My husband and I searched for a new phone with a budget of 150 to 200 Euros. I don't really care if it's not brand new but there are so many refurbished phones on the internet. You just need to do your own research.

Finally, we found the phone that I like. Based on my research, the Samsung Galaxy phones are nice. I used to have a cheap Samsung Galaxy phone in the past back in the Philippines. I really don't buy a phone if it exceeds PHP 10,000. Well, it was about PHP 5,500 for about a hundred US dollars.

The Excitement Begins

Last week, I was waiting for my package to arrive. My son woke me up for breakfast. Later on, he said that a delivery truck just arrived. Oh my giddy heart, I opened the door and the delivery guy handed me two boxes.

Confirmed that it was my phone based on the delivery tracking number. So I opened the two boxes. I was surprised that I received two boxes. I still received the items with excitement.

I opened one box and got a phone and a USB charger. That's it.

So I was curious what's inside the other box of the same size. I was assuming that I got a free phone cover to protect my phone.

As I opened the box, I took the rectangular item. I was shocked that it's kind of heavy. I was assuming it was a plastic and lightweight material. Lo, and behold! I got another phone.

Hello, Samsung Galaxy A71!

I woke up my husband who was very sick and I told him I received two phones. He never wanted to believe me and said maybe it was just a fake phone. I never insisted so I just went back downstairs to sanitize the two phones.

Later on, he woke up and he said he couldn't sleep with what I had said. He knows that I am not a liar so he went downstairs to see and check what I've received.

He was surprised! Indeed we received two phones.

What's with Samsung Galaxy A71

This is an upgrade to my old phone because the Samsung Galaxy A71 has 3 cameras.

Rear: 1 sensor of 64 Mpx (F1.8) + 1 sensor of 12 Mpx (F2.2) + 2 sensors each of 5 Mpx (F2.2 and F2.4)

It has an internal memory of 128 GB and a RAM of 6 GB.

It has a bigger screen compared to my old phone.

With the Galaxy A71, Samsung offers a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, Full HD+ definition, or 2,400 x 1080 pixels, and a 20:9 ratio. A punch at the top of the device houses the front photo sensor. Somehow, I don't want to abuse the usage of this phone but there's a chance I will use it frequently for one hour because I've downloaded some apps for my daily needs.

That means I'll just turn off the Wi-Fi connection when not in use as I can still use my iPad for the usual internet browsing.

I haven't tested the photography capability of this phone since we are still at home, the family is still sick.

Anyway, I waited for the delivery of the phone cover my husband found on Amazon.

And here it is. I chose the purple flower design. It only costs 10 Euros.

That's it! A birthday gift came too early but it seems like my husband can have a new phone.

Yes, thanks to Hive for this Hive earnings, I spent money on the new phone + one phone. Hehe! I ordered the phone for 190 Euros plus one phone for free. :D
