The XXI Century has arrived in the company of a great technological revolution, in a few years we have seen how science and innovation have opened the doors of a world that in the last century was totally impossible to visualize, today the tools developed by technology are at the service of all of us, making our lives easier and streamlining many processes that previously demanded more time and effort, this has resulted in a greater global interconnection that allows to narrow the distances and at the same time expand our human capabilities.

El Siglo XXI ha llegado en compañía de una gran revolución tecnológica, en pocos años hemos visto como la ciencia y la Innovación nos han abierto las puertas de un mundo que en el siglo pasado era totalmente imposible de visualizar, hoy en día las herramientas desarrolladas por la tecnología se encuentran al servicio de todos nosotros, facilitándonos la vida y agilizando muchos procesos que antes demandaban mayor tiempo y esfuerzo, esto ha traído como resultado una mayor interconexión global que permite estrechar las distancias y al mismo tiempo ampliar nuestras capacidades humanas.
Undoubtedly, in developed countries technological progress is much more evident than in countries like mine, and we can say that even within our societies the wealthiest and richest sectors have access to more advanced and innovative tools than those sectors that historically are characterized by being within the poverty thresholds, but despite the differences that may exist, technology has touched us all in some way, and today we have been forced to learn to deal with digital equipment, smart phones, high speed internet networks and many other elements that have become an essential part of our existence.
Sin duda alguna en los países desarrollados el avance tecnológico es mucho más evidente que en países como el mío, además podemos decir que incluso dentro de nuestras sociedades los sectores más acaudalados y pudientes tienen acceso a herramientas más avanzadas e innovadoras que aquellos sectores que históricamente se caracterizan por encontrarse dentro de los umbrales de pobreza, pero a pesar de las diferencias que puedan existir la tecnología nos ha tocado a todos de alguna manera, y hoy en día nos hemos visto obligados a aprender a lidiar con equipos digitales, teléfonos inteligentes, redes de internet de alta velocidad y muchos otros elementos que se han convertido en parte esencial de nuestra existencia.
Venezuela is a country that has always been characterized for being at the forefront of technological advances at regional level, being an oil state and economically rich it had the opportunity to be a pioneer in many areas, but the arrival of the economic crisis and the difficult financial situation that plagues the national accounts has undoubtedly meant a delay in pursuing the path of progress and development, It is for this reason that in this year 2023 the national government and private enterprise seem to have reached an agreement for the common benefit, which opens a compass of optimism and at the same time generates the necessary hope within the hearts of the people who aspire to continue walking towards national development.
Venezuela es un país que siempre se caracterizó por estar al frente de los avances tecnológicos a nivel regional, al ser un estado petrolero y económicamente rico tuvo la oportunidad de ser pionera en muchas áreas, pero la llegada de la crisis económica y la difícil situación financiera que azota las cuentas nacionales sin duda alguna ha significado un retraso en el proseguir con la senda del progreso y el desarrollo, es por esta razón que en este año 2023 el gobierno nacional y la empresa privada parecen haber llegado a un acuerdo en pro del beneficio común, lo cual abre un compás de optimismo y al mismo tiempo genera la esperanza necesaria dentro del corazón del pueblo que aspira seguir caminando con dirección hacia el desarrollo nacional.
Until a few years ago, artificial intelligence, high speed internet and the different technological developments seemed to be things of other countries, but today in the framework of the International Telecommunications Fair of Venezuela we have been able to discover that many companies have made a silent but valuable work, where they allowed to break the state monopoly and now provide quality services to millions of people, which is a great advance for the private sector and constitutes a great relief for those sectors that seemed to be forgotten and at the margin of technological development.
Hasta hace unos años la Inteligencia artificial, el internet de alta velocidad y los diferentes desarrollos tecnológicos parecían ser cosas de otros países, pero hoy en el marco de la Feria Internacional de Telecomunicaciones de Venezuela hemos podido descubrir que muchas empresas han realizado un trabajo silencioso, pero valioso, en donde permitieron romper el monopolio estatal y ahora prestan servicios de calidad a millones de personas, lo cual es un gran avance para el sector privado y constituye un gran alivio para aquellos sectores que parecían estar olvidados y al margen del desarrollo tecnológico.
In this fair we were able to discover the different telecommunications companies that make life in the national territory, there we enjoyed a great sample of services and costs that fully meet the needs of an entire society, also showed us advances in the area of high technology, where artificial intelligence, robots and humanoids were the focus of attention of most of those attending the fair.
En esta feria pudimos descubrir las diferentes empresas de telecomunicaciones que hacen vida en el territorio nacional, allí disfrutamos de una gran muestra de servicios y costos que se ajustan plenamente a las necesidades de toda una sociedad, Además nos mostraron avances en el área de la alta tecnología, en donde la Inteligencia artificial, los robots y humanoides fueron el centro de atención de la mayoría de los asistentes a la feria.
This fair was held in an iconic building of the capital called the Poliedro de Caracas, which is a perfectly selected space for this activity, since it is an enclosure covered by an impressive geodesic dome with capacity for more than 20,000 people and which since the time of its construction in the first half of the 70s was and has remained the undisputed reference of national technological development, since inside it offers a lot of first class services and it is a space that is perfectly suited to multiple events.
Esta feria fue realizada en un icónico edificio de la capital denominado el Poliedro de Caracas, el cual es un espacio perfectamente seleccionado para esta actividad, ya que se trata de un recinto cubierto por una impresionante cúpula geodésica con capacidad para más de 20.000 personas y el cual desde el momento de su construcción en la primera mitad de los años 70 fue y ha seguido siendo la referencia indiscutible del desarrollo tecnológico nacional, puesto que en su interior nos ofrece una gran cantidad de servicios de primer nivel y se trata de un espacio que se adapta perfectamente a múltiples eventos.
While inside the polyhedron of Caracas we enjoyed a waste of high technology, in the open spaces of its parking lot we could discover a great gastronomic offer and multiple outdoor exhibitions, where the name of many telecommunications companies were visible on cars and ads, which generated a really interesting atmosphere, a contrast of concepts that immersed us in an environment that undoubtedly was looking to the future.
Mientras que en el interior del poliedro de Caracas se disfrutaba de un derroche de alta tecnología, en los espacios abiertos de su estacionamiento podríamos descubrir una gran oferta gastronómica y múltiples exposiciones al aire libre, en donde el nombre de muchas empresas de telecomunicaciones eran visibles en carros y anuncios, lo cual generaba un ambiente realmente interesante, un contraste de conceptos que nos sumergía en un ambiente que sin duda alguna estaba mirando al futuro.
To tell the truth, this fair was focused more than anything else on generating technological agreements between private companies and the Venezuelan state, which I am convinced is the perfect formula to move towards a future where telecommunications and technology embrace the entire population in a loving way, generating tools that are effective in the most needy sectors of society, such as health, education, transportation and many other areas that today have various structural problems.
A decir verdad de esta feria estaba enfocada más que nada a generar acuerdos tecnológicos entre las empresas privadas y el estado venezolano, lo cual estoy convencido de que es la fórmula perfecta para avanzar hacia un futuro en donde las telecomunicaciones y la tecnología abracen de forma cariñosa a toda la población, generando herramientas que sean eficaces en los sectores más necesitados de la sociedad, como por ejemplo la salud, la educación, el transporte y muchas otras áreas que hoy cuentan con diversos problemas estructurales.
Touring this fair in the company of my parents was anti fun, as we learned many new things and at the same time we took a look at the future that is to come, As we walked we met different characters of the Venezuelan political and cultural life, among which I can highlight the candidates of the next, Miss Venezuela, who with a smile on his face and a vibrant energy shed more light on this place.
Recorrer esta feria en compañía de mis padres fue anti divertido, ya que aprendimos muchas cosas nuevas y al mismo tiempo le dimos un vistazo al futuro que está por venir, Mientras caminamos nos encontramos con diferentes personajes de la vida política y cultural venezolana, entre las cuales puedo destacar las candidatas del próximo, Miss Venezuela, quienes con una sonrisa en el rostro y una energía vibrante arrojaron más luz sobre este lugar.
I hope that the agreements and businesses closed in the framework of this fair are fully and satisfactorily fulfilled, so that little by little we can recover the lost time and continue walking on the path of development and progress, where there is also a greater social inclusion which allows technology and innovation to contribute greatly to the real needs of the people, that is how I say goodbye to this fair and to you with a great sense of optimism and with the hope that Venezuela is becoming a better country.
Espero que los acuerdos y negocios cerrados en el marco de esta feria se cumplan plena y satisfactoriamente, para que poco a poco podamos ir recuperando el tiempo perdido y sigamos caminando por la ruta del desarrollo y el progreso, en donde además existe una mayor inclusión social la cual permita que la tecnología y la Innovación aporte enormemente en las necesidades reales del pueblo, es así como me despido de esta feria y de ustedes con un gran sentimiento de optimismo y con la esperanza de que Venezuela sea cada vez un mejor país.
