Remote work is a blessing

We are living in a digital world and in the last few decades, the technological development was very impressive. It was so impressive that I want to say it was magical and I think very few people deny the statement.

In the past time, we needed to depend on offline work and we needed to go to the office or workplace in every working day. We need to get ready for it and reach to the workplace within a specific time. Many people don't like it but they need to abide by the rules of the authority.
But time changed and now it is not necessary to go to the office/workplace physically and work. We can work remotely which means we can work from a distance. So today let's discuss about remote work.

The first time, I heard about remote working was in 2016 and I acknowledged about it by reading the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) book which was a compulsory textual book at my intermediate level. I was totally surprised to know about it for the first time. By reading the book I gained a little basic knowledge about freelancing and online earning. Moreover, I found some websites name where people could do remote work for earning. I was very much impressed to see it and started to dream of working in online and earning by sitting at home. I talked about it to my mother and my mother replied that if it was possible to earn from home then, nobody would go to outside to work. I don't blame her for saying that because it was very natural to say because who would believe about such kind of thing when they didn't see anyone to work remotely?

I insisted more and my mother said she would not believe it until I showed her any proof. I kept dreaming about it. I used to think I could earn money from there very easily without any skills which was wrong. I acknowledged about it later.

I think before the time of the pandemic very few were serious about remote jobs or remote working and I was almost about to forget about it all though I dreamed of it once. In the pandemic situation, every sector was collapsing because nobody could go outside for work. As a solution, everyone started to do their office task staying from home online as well as remote work. Many people enjoy remote work because they have the time to complete this task at any time whenever they want. They don't need to be prepared formally for office. Their time and transport costs were saved. In my case, I have taken online classes of my students which was also a remote work.

After the end of the pandemic situation, online work shifted to offline again but people understood and explored many things about remote jobs and it's benefits. So people take it as an extra earning option as the inflation rate was striking badly after the pandemic.

Now people are very much concerned about remote working at least in my country. It's because there are many unemployed graduates in my country as finding a job is very difficult. Those are trying to find remote jobs to generate some money to be self-dependent. In fact, many people are considering remote jobs as a permanent earning source. For a developing country like my country, it's a kind of blessing because many people becoming self-dependent, and self-dependent people are an asset to the country. Moreover, they are bringing money into my country which contributing to my national economy.

So in a single line, I want to say about remote work from my country's perspective, it's full of opportunities but there are some difficulties also in my country. For remote working good quality internet connectivity is required. Unfortunately, many areas of my country especially the village areas are not receiving high-speed internet facilities which is an obstacle for remote work. Our government is trying to get rid of the problem and several steps have already been taken for it. I hope in the future the situation will be much better than current time.
