Sunday Reflections/Insightful Sundays.

Hai, everyone in this my adorable community, "FreeComplements" it's good to be alfe on this first Sunday in the last month of the year.... December. Lots of things has happened from January to this very moment of the year, therefore, I'm glad that I and my family including the members of this wonderful and out standing community are still standing, alive and healthy, thanks be to God almighty and to our great initiators in this community, what could we have done without all of you guys all through the years, thank you so much for your unwaivering strength that has been keeping this community strong and vibrant from week to week and from month to month, then from one year to another year, thank you again and again.

Yes, there was an insightful event that happened where i live recently, i thought it wise to drop it here for us to learn and to enjoy, in my community , everyone has been hearing the name of one prominent chief and his family, this very big learned chief resides in the United States of America, even before i was born he has been residing there with his three sons born for him by his wife over there, he is a medical personnel, his wife the same, he also said that their three sons and their wives in short everyone in his family have their jobs related with medical and human health.

They do not visit the country often it's like they have become citizens of the country of their abode, but something very significant happened to him earlier this year which shock him frightened him and made him think twice and retraced his steps of abandonment of his community since more than 40/50 years when he left the shores of this country, Nigeria. I mean we suddenly saw him return home alfe, very old and looking very apologetic to his kingsmen, his friends, his community and close relations.

He returned late last month with this parthetic story that touches the heart that he nearly died earlier this year when he went for a six hours operation in his son's hospital in New York in the United States of America, guess what?, he had cancer of the throat, he could not talk, drink water, eat food or even know where he was for a complete three months after that operation of six hours stretch, he now feels very suber within himself, thinking had it been he died, would he has been able to come home to see everyone that he is seeing now, which he has abandoned for so many years now!

He now staged a thanksgiving service and party in his church and reception at his home which he has not visited for uncountable years as he had been in America, the whole community gathered celebrating him and his wife because they came home alife though very old now, we were rejoicing, dancing, eating and celebrating their lives with them, though his sons didn't return with them, everyone was very happy, glad and pleased with God and with them for remembering to return home to see his people now they're alive.

Conclusion,
What's worth doing is worth doing well says an adage, they have kept away at the youthful time of their lives but decided to come home now they're very old without much strength to help people around them, a stitch in time, saves nine, they say!!!.
