DECODING THE JET AGE

Examining the time and age we are in, one is left to wonder whether or not this age was better than that of our ancestors. Life has changed so much that everything now seems more possible than it may have seemed some years back. With the invention of technology, the world has known a speed that is still yet to be fully understood. In fact, we are called the ”JET AGE”. This name denotes how fast things are moving, all thanks to the use of technology in almost every aspect of our lives.

The indiaunited prompt is asking us this week to share our thoughts on whether or not technology has made life easier or complicated. For me, I’ll say it’s both and below is why.

Since the invention of technology, it has been our desire to want to fully understand the different complexities of technology and as we unfold these complexities, we come to discover things that generally makes life easier for us. These complexities have created opportunities for us to study and also given us a source of livelihood.

Technology today, can be seen in almost every aspects of our everyday living. And for those aspects that technology is yet to be introduced into, I’m very much sure that people are already working towards applying technology to those areas as well. And thank so to all these complexities that has driven us to search for answers, we have found ways to make most aspects of our lives easier and to a larger extent even lazier as there is almost nothing that we can’t apply our tech knowledge to.

The discovery of technology has given us the assurance to believe that anything is possible. The things our fathers took years to achieve, now, it can take us less than an hour to achieve that same result but that is only possible for someone that has master or studied the complexities of technology. This is just to let us know that with technology, the complexities pave way for the ease of living. Without fully understanding technology, it will only just feel like a piece of complex systems but the moment we can understand or break down those complexities, we will be able to see how much easier it can make our lives.

With technology, all you need is more of brain work than hard work. It teaches you to optimize your brain thinking capacity than your manual capacity. Giving you room to do more work in lesser time than usual. Technology has come to make our lives easier and not complicated. The complicated aspect of technology is only paving the way for us to learn and not something to hunt us in anyway bad. But this knowledge we acquire is left for us to do with it as we deem fit.
