I am not sure why the invitation does not work. Maybe there is a limit like you say.

Great thanks! Please give me a warning if another scenario happens in the future, and I'll quickly fix things up.
I still get the error message on the invitation and it is 6,669 members so it's not a limit issue. My username on discord is matheasy. Let me know if you can add me manually to the discord.
It worked for me, maybe discord is blocked in your area?
I have a discord channel and haven't had any issues before.
