Education Strengthens Knowledge, Knowledge Prompts Power

Very short but practical truth. If you have two servants, you give one instruction on what to do and how to do it, leaving the second one uninformed, with time, the one that receives information will begin to exercise power over the other because he knows the right thing to do. He might have begun to use a command tone on the other even without your notice.

The system of education has brought many changes which can't be emphasized over the long run. Public schools participated in bringing drastic change which it can never sustained.

We are in the era of information & technology today, the world where technology is considered the most important approach to our daily lives.

In those days when formal education was not as thriving as today, people were versatile with basic skills, though there were people who wandered around, some unprincipled men who were not skillful.

The skilled ones do what they find promising use their power, and strength, and are committed to what they do, unlike some public school teachers today.

When education came, several things began to take a new form. Education brought indifferent change in career choice and the generation of skilled debt like blacksmiths, fishermen, potters alchemists in the medieval era embraced education.

Though some also felt it was not necessary and wanted their children to be just like them, to some who accepted it early, it was very empowering and gave them the chance to stay ahead of their time.

Technology is advancing gradually, things change daily, IMO, the value of education has diminished in the minds of some people. Luckily a lot of people can afford good schools today, but some people can still not afford a good school (mostly private schools).

Public schools seem to be the most affordable. public schools today are not maintained well. No revamping has been done on many schools since the day they were built. Thanks to quality building materials

Classrooms are not conducive, a lot of things are messed up, overcrowded classes, the curriculum is not in good shape, lack of teacher assessment. For this generation, these are not acceptable, to say less.

Generally, there should be an adjustment in the curriculum used by public schools. This is a vital challenge in public schools which should be worked on ASAP, otherwise, things might get out of hand.

One more major thing is the availability of instructional materials for learning, things that students can see and relate to easily.

How easy would it be when you mentioned a table to a little kid in the class concerning the physical materials? It will be interesting, I guess.

The government should see to this, it will help if the standard of education is easier for some level
