Hey pessoal! Hoje é dia de trazer mais algumas curiosidades sobre o nosso Brasil. Sabe quando a gente olha lá para fora e percebe quantas coisas foram feitas pelos europeus, pelos norte americanos, pelos chineses, por todo mundo menos pelos brasileiros? Pois é, chega dá raiva pelo Brasil não ter ganho nenhum prêmio Nobel, mas hoje vinhemos trazer motivos para você se orgulhar da nacionalidade brasileira. Então vem junto com a gente, porque hoje é dia de trazer muitas curiosidades, principalmente se você é ávido por descobrir coisas que ninguém sabe sobre nosso querido Brasil, com vocês, as maiores invenções brasileiras de todos os tempos.

A Primeira Transmissão da Voz Humana por Ondas de Rádio

Você sabia que a primeira transmissão da voz humana por ondas de rádio foi feita por um padre gaúcho chamado Roberto Landell de Moura? Quer dizer, na verdade foi pelo italiano Guglielmo Marconi em 1896, que inclusive deu a ele um prêmio Nobel. Só que o gaúcho foi a primeira pessoa a fazer uma demonstração pública disso em 1896. Alguém sabe de onde vem toda a questão de datas e pioneirismo? Quem fez primeiro? O governo brasileiro não apoiou o rapaz naquela época e simplesmente deixou o projeto morrer. Só que, em tese, o padre foi quem inventou o telefone sem fio.

A Urna Eletrônica

Outra coisa inventada em terras tupiniquins, fruto de discórdia de uns e amor por outros, é a famosa urna eletrônica. Sim, o Brasil foi o primeiro país a usar uma urna eletrônica porque foi ele que a inventou. Inclusive, é um dos únicos que continua utilizando. Para você ter uma ideia, nos Estados Unidos não utilizam essas urnas porque dizem que elas não são seguras. Quem desenvolveu essa preciosidade em 1989, na cidade de Brusque em Santa Catarina, foi Carlos Prudente. A urna eletônica só passou a ser utilizada a partir de 1996.

A Radiografia

E você sabia que a radiografia foi inventada por um brasileiro? Mais precisamente pelo médico Manoel de Abreu, que por muito tempo pesquisou uma forma de tirar uma fotocópia dos órgãos humanos. Em 1936, ele teve seu primeiro resultado, quando conseguiu tirar uma foto de um pulmão pela primeira vez. Por conta disso, doenças como a tuberculose se tornaram muito mais fáceis de serem diagnosticadas. Depois de ter feito isso, ele batizou o negócio como "abreugrafia", em homenagem a ele mesmo. Em 1950, ele foi indicado ao prêmio Nobel como o pioneiro da radiografia.

A Bina

E você lembra da Bina? Quem é da geração pré-smartphone vai lembrar dela com certeza. A Bina era um sistema de identificação de números telefônicos, basicamente aquilo que mostra quem está ligando. A Bina é invenção de um brasileiro chamado Nélio José Nicolai, e significa "B Identifica o Número de A".

O Walkman

Mas não para por aí. Você lembra do Walkman? Aquele aparelhinho que a gente usava para ouvir música enquanto caminhava por aí e ficava 'descolado'? Todo mundo queria ter um. Enfim, o avô do iPod. Ele foi inventado por um alemão naturalizado brasileiro chamado Andreas Pavel em 1972. Naquela época, foi batizado de "Stereobelt" e deu bastante briga sobre quem era o grande o pioneiro por inventar o Walkman. A Sony dizia que era ela, e o alemão brasileiro dizia que era ele. Mas, no fim das contas, a justiça disse que a autoria da invenção era do Andreas.

A Fotografia

Você já deve ter ouvido muitas histórias de onde a fotografia veio, mas e se nós dissermos que ela foi inventada no Brasil? Precisamos dizer que a gente só sabe o que aconteceu no passado porque alguém escreveu sobre isso. Se ninguém escreveu, então isso nunca aconteceu. Em 1833, um francês que viveu muito tempo no Brasil chamado Antoine Hercule Romuald Florence utilizou uma chapa de vidro tratada quimicamente que capturava a imagem e depois passava para o papel. Eu sei, é estranho. A gente sempre ouviu falar que a fotografia foi inventada em outro lugar, mas existe um livro chamado "A Descoberta Isolada da Fotografia no Brasil" que fala sobre essa história. Legal, né?

A Máquina de Escrever

E se dissermos que a máquina de escrever também foi inventada no Brasil? Pois é, parece história de louco, mas o padre Francisco João de Azevedo teve uma ideia brilhante. Ele pegou um piano de 24 teclas e adaptou-o para que, quando ele apertasse as teclas, as letras fossem impressas no papel. Ele utilizava um pedalzinho debaixo do piano para pular de linha. Parece bizarro, mas a máquina de escrever nasceu ali. Só que houve um problema: Francisco confiou a sua ideia a um comerciante chamado George, que disse que ia levar para os Estados Unidos e replicar por lá. E, alguns anos depois, um outro americano chamado Christopher Sholes inventou uma coisa muito parecida por lá, começou a produzir em escala industrial e vender para todo o mundo. E o brasileiro? Ninguém mais soube o que aconteceu com ele. Chega a dar raiva uma coisa dessas, né?

O Coração Artificial

Lá no ano 2000, um engenheiro chamado Aron de Andrade, do Instituto de Cardiologia do Estado de São Paulo, inventou uma espécie de coração artificial para ser então utilizado nas pessoas que eram cardíacas. Basicamente, naquela época, era um motor ligado a um coração natural. Pois é, sabemos que o negócio parece meio rústico, mas a verdade é que a maioria das invenções que a gente tem hoje em dia começaram com uma ideia assim, sem pé nem cabeça: botar um motor no coração.

O Balão

E você conhece o balão? Aquele mesmo, que leva as pessoas de um lado para o outro e é o meio de transporte aéreo mais antigo do mundo. Um inventor chamado Bartolomeu de Gusmão foi a primeira pessoa que talvez tenha percebido que o ar quente era mais leve do que o ar frio. E com isso ele conseguiu inventar um meio de transporte que levava ar quente. Em 1709, ele inventou a famosa "Passarola" e resolveu exibi-la para a corte portuguesa. E aí, quando ele mostrou o negócio para o pessoal, a galera foi ao delírio, mesmo que aquele negócio tenha subido só quatro metros de altura. Mas já era bastante, né? Melhor do que nada.

O Câmbio Automático

E apesar de nós brasileiros termos a maioria dos carros ainda com câmbio manual, você sabia que o câmbio automático foi inventado aqui no Brasil? Os inventores eram José Braz Araripe e Fernando Lehly Lemos. Eles eram engenheiros mecânicos que desenvolveram esse protótipo em 1932, que foi vendido para a General Motors seis anos depois, em 1938. A General Motors então lançou seu primeiro carro hidramático. E foi feito por brasileiros.

O Orelhão

E você lembra daquela época em que, quando a gente queria conversar com uma pessoa, tinha que caminhar muito tempo e ficar debaixo de um orelhão? Então, foi uma invenção de Chu Ming Silveira, que é uma chinesa naturalizada brasileira. Hoje em dia, as pessoas podem não dar mais bola para isso, virou basicamente peça de museu a céu aberto. Mas vocês ainda têm que lembrar que quando foi lançado, era genial, porque as pessoas não precisavam mais se molhar quando queriam falar no telefone lá no meio da rua. Além disso, foi utilizado em muitos países, principalmente da América Latina, como o Brasil e a Colômbia. Hoje é difícil de ver um desses por aí.

O Avião

Você deve estar se perguntando: "E vocês não vão falar da invenção do avião?" Pois é, essa é uma das maiores incógnitas da história contemporânea. Foi o Santos Dumont ou foram os irmãos Wright nos Estados Unidos? Os norte americanos dizem uma coisa, o Brasil diz outra, mas a verdade é que os Estados Unidos sempre ganham, independentemente de qual seja a verdade. Por fim, a verdade verdadeira é que, em 1906, Alberto Santos Dumont, o brasileiro, decolou com o seu 14-bis por 220 metros em Paris. E essa foi a primeira vez na história da humanidade que se viu uma aeronave voando por toda essa distância. Lá na Europa, o pessoal ainda diz que foi o Dumont que inventou o avião. Aliás, o avião que os irmãos Wright inventaram lá nos Estados Unidos foi impulsionado por uma catapulta, diferente do que Santos Dumont fez, que já era motorizado.

Relógio de Pulso

Mas para não dar briga, tem uma coisa que é incontestável: a invenção do relógio de pulso foi feita por um brasileiro. E você sabe por quem? Alberto Santos Dumont. Não vamos tirar o mérito dele. O inventor queria cronometrar o tempo de voo dos seus aviões, mas naquela época, tirar o relógio do bolso o tempo todo para ficar olhando, cronometrando e botando de volta, era muito ruim. Então ele resolveu encomendar um relógio que ficasse preso no pulso dele. Na verdade, quem inventou o relógio de pulso foi o o relojoalheiro que o presenteou, mas ele foi quem teve a ideia de botar o relógio no pulso. E assim, o relógio de pulso foi inventado e utilizamos ele até hoje.

O Soro Antiofídico

E nossa lista só aumenta. Você sabe o soro antiofídico, para picada de cobra? Ele foi inventado por um brasileiro de renome internacional chamado Vital Brazil em 1913. Como se não bastasse, ele inventou o soro para picada de escorpião em 1908 e para picada de aranha em 1925. Então sim, você pode levar picada desses bichos e ainda sobreviver, graças a essa figura. Você não vai morrer, mas por favor, não faça isso em casa.

A Escova Progressiva

E você sabia que a famosa escova progressiva é uma invenção dos subúrbios do Rio de Janeiro? Desde 1998, faz parte da vida de muitas mulheres, principalmente utilizando o formol para dar aquele resultado. É muito conhecida. E para você acreditar no que eu estou falando, lá fora a escova progressiva é chamada de "Brazilian Hair Straightening" ou "Brazilian Blowout". Não tem "Brazil" no meio do nome à toa, foi inventada no Brasil. A depilação íntima é outra coisa que também foi inventada no Brasil e lá fora é chamada de "Brazilian Wax".

O Cartão Telefônico

E por último, antes falamos do orelhão, agora vamos falar do cartão telefônico. Lembra dele? Então, graças a um engenheiro, Nelson Guilherme Bardini, nós não precisávamos mais utilizar aquelas fichas quando a gente queria falar com alguém pelo telefone. Antigamente, esses cartões eram feitos de PVC e foram inventados no Brasil, se espalharam pelo mundo todo, mas no Brasil só virou moda em 1992, depois que todo mundo já tinha confiado no negócio que aparentemente ninguém acreditava que ia dar certo. Mas deu certo lá fora e depois voltou para o Brasil, um negócio que já nasceu aqui dentro.

E essa foi a nossa lista das coisas que foram inventadas no Brasil. Duvidamos que você já sabia de todas elas. Talvez uma ou outra invenção. Depois de ler todo esse artigo, você pode tirar como conclusão que muitas coisas que foram inventadas no Brasil não tiveram reconhecimento do governo ou da população. Nunca houve um grande investimento nessa área, por isso muitas coisas até hoje não são inventadas no Brasil. Outras são até inventadas aqui, mas, levam o inventor(a) lá para fora e dizem que o treco foi inventado lá em outro país. Mas enfim, os brasileiros também fazem parte da história da humanidade.

You know when we look outside and see how many things were made by Europeans, North Americans, Chinese, everyone but Brazilians? Yeah, it makes you angry that Brazil hasn't won a Nobel Prize, but today we bring reasons for you to be proud of being Brazilian. So come along with us because today is the day to bring many curiosities, especially if you're eager to discover things nobody knows about our beloved Brazil. Here are the greatest Brazilian inventions of all time.

The First Transmission of the Human Voice by Radio Waves

Did you know that the first transmission of the human voice by radio waves was made by a gaucho priest named Roberto Landell de Moura? Well, actually it was by the Italian Guglielmo Marconi in 1896, who even won a Nobel Prize for it. But the gaucho was the first person to publicly demonstrate it in 1896. Does anyone know where all the dates and pioneering issues come from? Who did it first? The Brazilian government did not support the guy back then and simply let the project die. But in theory, the priest invented the wireless telephone.

The Electronic Voting Machine

Another thing invented in Brazilian lands, controversial to some and beloved by others, is the famous electronic voting machine. Yes, Brazil was the first country to use an electronic voting machine because it invented it. In fact, it is one of the few that continues to use it. Radiography

The Walkman

Photography

You may have heard many stories about where photography came from, but what if we told you it was invented in Brazil? We must say that we only know what happened in the past because someone wrote about it. If no one wrote it down, then it never happened. In 1833, a Frenchman who lived in Brazil for a long time named Antoine Hercule Romuald Florence used a chemically treated glass plate that captured the image and then transferred it to paper. The Balloon

And do you know the balloon? The one that carries people from one place to another and is the oldest means of air transportation in the world. North Americans say one thing, Brazil says another, but the truth is that the United States always wins, regardless of what the truth is. The Antivenom

The Brazilian Blowout

And did you know that the famous Brazilian blowout is an invention from the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro? Since 1998, it has been a part of many women's lives, mainly using formaldehyde to achieve that result. It is very well known. And to make you believe what I'm saying, abroad, the Brazilian blowout is called "Brazilian Hair Straightening" or "Brazilian Blowout." There's "Brazil" in the middle of the name for a reason; it was invented in Brazil. Brazilian waxing is another thing that was also invented in Brazil and abroad is called "Brazilian Wax."

The Phone Card

And finally, we talked about the phone booth earlier, now let's talk about the phone card. Remember it? So, thanks to an engineer, Nelson Guilherme Bardini, we no longer had to use those tokens when we wanted to talk to someone on the phone.
