Yes, it is great to have their support, and of course their desires for providing votes are just that, desires. Folks are welcome to post here without writing books if they want lol! Many do seem to be writing a bit more to get their favor. They also have limits on how often they will upvote an author, etc.. Gets a bit too busy and overlord-ish for my taste, but it is nice to get those gravy upvotes now and again as a bonus!

“Overlord-ish” 🤣 very well put and I do agree. I suppose there’s no harm in incentivising a little context to an authors post, even if rewards are not guaranteed. Nonetheless, a bit of background story may generate an interesting comment or two. Just as good to get interaction rather than just upvotes.
Yes, many have not yet realized that the interactions will lead to more long term upvotes, more reliably than most other methods! Plus, isn't that what these platforms are all about?
