hahaha, I thought it was stake based vote so I choose one with like 20% upvote and others with 10%.

I did actually consider that as a possible mechanism, so you're not off the track at all! However, it might end up being a little bit difficult to implement for tallying purposes.

It might work once I organize the contest a little bit more, so this idea is not discounted by any means. For now, though, we'll keep it very simplistic.

Well it comes with its cons too, one upvote by a big account can make someone winner but it reduces the risk of people making multiple accounts and upvoting them.

However, it might end up being a little bit difficult to implement for tallying purposes.

Well you can just look at the comment reward and choose the one with the maximum rewards. So, it might not be difficult to implement but has the above problem of a whale upvoting their friend and that guy winning every time.

So, you can then use a Hybrid system, which is the best of both worlds but requires some precise calculations and that's hard to implements.

So you can use.... (I should stop at this point 🤣)

Oh, when you said stake-based I thought you meant solely on the basis of % of your vote! No, I definitely wouldn't do it based on the voter's HP stake. I don't think that's democratic.

Just based on the % of their vote. One person's 50% vote = another person's 50% vote.

That does indeed pose the risk of an alt account voting, something that, for some reason, I didn't consider even though I usually do! I'm hoping that we can count on integrity here, but we'll see what happens initially ad adjust as needed. At this point, we're not even there yet, haha.
