So cool that the condition still looked pristine. One thing I learned about storage is that it's also important to know where to store them and to figure out if the humidity is high or not. It can damage gadgets so easily if stored incorrectly. I would be paranoid leaving the HDD in there without backing them before storage. :D
I think I had nothing useful on the HDDs anyway... when I stop using a computer, I back them up or take everything off that I still need before setting up the new one. I know that I'd put it off otherwise!
