New LEO strategy for 2025
My LEO stats for now are, in December 2024:
Liquid LEO - 0 as I just powered up on the 15th of the month
Staked LEO - 300
Delegated LEO - 35.000 to @meowcurator
Hive delegated to @leo.voter - 3 Hive
Also, as I just sold some extra, the Hive delegated to @leo.voter is here, for the start of this year:
My new strategy for this year will be the following:
- Keep the delegation of 35K to @meowcurator and receive liquid LEO.
- Every month on the 1st I sell all the liquid LEO I have for Hive, which I delegate to @leo.voter.
- Receive staked LEO at 16% APR from my Hive delegation.
- For every 1000 staked LEO, added to the stash delegated for @meowcurator.
Hopefully, this will create some 'perpetuum mobile' effect, slowly increasing my LEO total, cycle after cycle. It seems a bit complicated, but this will require a minimum of assistance on my part (5 minutes every 1st day of the month), no more worries about the power-up day, and an extra 6% more rewards overall, after one year. And not to forget, I'll have more time to focus on improving my writing skills and participate in more Hive meetings. It seems that we may have one in the summer, in the Lake District. And maybe another one in Bedford, if @steevc and the others are ready for it. 2025 will be an interesting year.

I don't have ideas about the strategy since I am learning from you on this one. I'm just curious what the right split of HP is to keep on my own account for personal writing/curating vs. delegating that stake to a curating account to earn back yield?
Whatever it is, sounds like you have put in the work to try and find the best earning strategy. Maybe I will try something similar with some of the other tokens on Hive Engine as well. Thanks for sharing this useful strategy.
I have all my Leo delegated mostly, as I do not have time to curate both Leo and Hive. The Hive that I delegate for Leo rewards is just the one that I get from the delegated Leo after I sell the rewards. I do not touch the main HP of the account.
