IMPACT OF EDUCATION ON TECHNOLOGICAL AND BLOCKCHAIN DVANCEMENT

Education has come a long way to give positive impact both individually and the community at large. In view, we all have experienced the impact when it comes to technology advancements, we have all benefitted by using our wealth of knowledge for the betterment of our country and even the world. To be advanced in technology, it means to be way ahead in terms of innovation, improvement and evolution. Advanced technology cuts across different fields, it is not static as it is dynamic and new things are constantly invented in various aspects to improve their use. This occurs as a means to make equipments more efficient, durable and less stressful for users.

Advancement in technology is eminent is all areas of life, from medicine, agriculture, transportation, information, communication, appliances and so on. For instance, in terms of agriculture, technology is constantly involved in making tools that reduces the workload of farmer.we have equipment like tractor machine, plow, harvester, fertilizer, sickle, cultivator, manure spreader and so on.

In view of all these, education plays a significant role and impact in technology advancement, first off, it provides individuals with the theoretical and practical skills needed to put all these things in place and make them work for mankind. Without education, people will not have the knowledge of what to do and the critical thinking to navigate through their problem solving abilities. So skill development is necessary for progress in technology.

Also, in school back then, there is what is called academic research, students or lecturers are given grants (money) to carry out research concerning projects in different fields, in turn these projects can turn out to be new technologies that can be released into the market. So through these educational research, even old technologies can be worked upon to improve durability and make them better than they used to be.

One thing about education is that it is an eye opener to newer technologies. It goes to show that people are well informed and ready to try out new opportunities like these technologies. For instance In my country, some people are still ignorant about trusting online developments or even banking institutions. It is with the claim that they don't want to be scammed or duped and indeed it is a major setback for growth to fully take place. But those that are educated and oriented, use this processes to enrich themselves and make life better. For instance, a farmers that uses new technical instruments on their farms will yield great harvest than the ignorant counterparts that work day and night with just cutlass and hoe.

Having educational background makes an individual or a country allows for competion with other nations in the global technological landscape. One time, Africa was stereotyped as a nation that lived in the bush or on trees, but so far so good, we have advanced technologically in several. We now have advanced mobile devices as against the traditional ones we had back then, we communicate right from wherever we are to anywhere in the world. I remember back then we used to go out to phone booths to make calls and pay for their services but technology has taken over.

These advancements continually shape and redefine the way societies operate and contribute to the overall progress of human civilization. Education is driving force being the sucess of any technological advancements by providing mathematical skills, acquiring English as a second language to be able to cut across barriers, studying medical terms and so many more.

Blockchain technology and Cryptocurrency is one aspect of technology advancement that is eminent in Nigeria but you cannot achieve this if education was not in place, you see how it has redefined human civilization. The exploration of Cryptocurrency by Nigerians even when the government tried to stop it goes to show that, we as a country are experiencing significant growth in emerging tech trends like web 2 ,web 3 internet.

To buttress my point, take the hive blockchain for instance where we have many Nigerians as content creators, assuming we were not educated it would have restricted us one way or another to miss the wonderful invention technology has to offer. Education is definitely a necessity for any country to grow economically or technologically. Basically, no technology without education.
