FRIENDSHIPS ARE OVERSHADOWED BY TECHNOLOGY
Technology has brought spice to the human life by giving it the advent of modern technology as helped people to accomplish task and duties that could take hours or days to perform.
However, why modern technology has helped to improve productivity in the human life it has in one way or the other tampered with our natural and organic way of Living. What I mean is that modern technology is like a double edge sword that has both its negative side and its positive side that affects the way people live.
Some of the ways by which modern technology has improved the human life and made it easier is by establishing a modern way to communicate with loved ones who are far away. In our contemporary world, we do not need to rely on sending letters to distant places that would take days to deliver.
I remember back in the days when we would send letters to our grandparents and they would receive it to or 3 days later but these is not the case as modern technology has made it easier for people to come unique kids through platforms like WhatsApp, zoom , Messenger, social media etc.
Another means by which modern technology has improved the human life is the opportunity to do whatever we like online. These days we do not need to be confined to the four words of a classroom before we can learn anything be it coding, cooking, baking, sewing etc, just by using our mobile phones or laptops we can learn almost anything or work in any part of the country that we feel like. The cases of online banking, health McRae consultation, shopping and so on.
While these are commendable efforts of what modern technology can do to encourage productivity in the human life there are negative side to this because somehow it's makes life emptier as people lose natural connections.
For instance, social media has taken over real life human connection, people now rely on chatting and do not engage in physical meetings with friends or families anymore. These days, friendships feels overshadowed by technology. Thus, it distracts people from the true realities of life, rather than enjoy the works of nature they rather spend time scroll through their mobile devices.
It has even gotten to a point that people no longer enjoy privacy, as it feels like they are watching you from all angles, just like "Big Brother is watching you” — comes from the famous novel “Nineteen Eighty-Four. If you have also noticed, when you browse about an item or a thing , it's like every advert you see on social media knows about that search.
In conclusion, technology has polluted the peace and privacy we used to enjoy as humans back in the days, now it takes serious discipline and effort to not be overwhelmed by it.

Sorry my response is abit long. Am off at work😆.
Of a truth, technology has brought about a lot of positive changes to human life. One thing I truly appreciate about it is how it helps us stay organized. Before now, our offices used to be filled with piles of papers here and there, but with technology, we can now archive so many things in our systems and on the cloud. Whenever we need any document, we can easily print it out without stress.
Technology has also made learning and communication easier. It has connected people globally and made access to information faster. However, while we enjoy these benefits, we should also be careful not to let technology control us. Too much dependence on it can make us less natural and reduce human interaction.
Now, in my opinion ooo,
I personally see technology as a 'weapon', a double edged sword. It can either be used as a positive weapon for growth, development, and speed, or as a weapon that destroys the very person using it and even the relationships they have built. The choice lies in our hands.
That is why when we go on social media today, we see all kinds of things, from valuable content and junks. Many people use it wrongly, exposing themselves in ways that later haunt them. So, while we engage in this digital space, let us be intentional. Let us embrace the positive side of technology and not allow it to take our minds away from the real things that truly matter in life.
Funny enough😆, #mothers and #fathers #Hivers in the house can relate to this too. Technology, in one way or the other, has affected the #relationship between us and our #children. These days, when a #baby is crying, the first thing many #parents do is to turn on a cartoon. Instead of paying attention to what the child is trying to communicate, we quickly hand over a screen just to keep them quiet.
Of course, parenting can be overwhelming at times, children can be all over you calling mummy, daddy every second 😅. But not every time should we expose them to screens. When they get used to it, it becomes an #addiction, and we begin to see children who can hardly stay without gadgets.
Let us therefore engage technology as a #positive #weapon, something that supports our growth, not something that dominates our space or weakens our human connection.
Thank you Ma for this wonderful piece. It is a timely reminder to us all. 🥰🥰
You are right in every sense of the word, thanks for stopping by my blog...

Nice write-up ✅,
Technology has made human daily activities very easy and simple than ever before.
But has polluted the peace and joy we use to enjoy before as human..
