The INDEX in 2025

Server

We have been working to update and ensure the server is able to persist when Hive and Hive-Engine nodes and APIs go down for maintenance and any other issues. Everything currently looks to be able to stay up and switch nodes as needed to continue operations 24/7.

Backend

In the background we have a ton of processes running nonstop to keep track of all the tokens within the INDEX as well as buying, selling, staking, etc.. on both Hive and Hive-Engine. We recently revamped the buy bot to better and more accurately purchase Indexed tokens, this will be reflected in time as the INDEX continues to buy and hold its various tokens contained within.

Frontend

We have been tracking liquid, staked, and tertiary rewards for almost a year now so we will be able to update the APR data on the site more accurately in the near future. Currently it uses a 180 day snapshot (while accurate, could be better). The only thing we have to understand with percentage rates is that if you hold more tokens today than yesterday with the same rewards, your APR would go down a little bit. By expanding the timeline, we are minimizing the amount of change the APR would show if there was larger purchases of tokens within the INDEX.

Blog

We are working to continue to build more blog posts consistently, but due to heavy workload, this is delayed. We are currently looking for someone to blog for the INDEX though, so if you are interested or know someone that might be interested please reach out to us on discord @cabljo.

Tokens

We are consistently looking at our current tokens as well as any potential tokens to be added to the INDEX. If you have a token that you feel would be a good fit for the INDEX, let us know on Discord!

Assets

Our biggest assets currently are held on Splinterlands with staked SPS as well as liquidity pools. Due to the currently high rewards for these, we will continue to invest in them (especially staked SPS) in order to increase the rewards for our token holders!
