The famous social media platform is Youtube, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, telegram, twitter and snapchat. First social media started for people to interact friends and families but in very short time it is being used for different purposes. It starts playing important role in many businesses and marketing strategies social media is divided in some categories such as social news, media sharing, networking and online forums.

Some advantages and disadvantages of social media.
(1) connectivity: It is a direct way of connection with the audience. You can easily understand the demand of your audience. You can deliver value able content and products to your audience according to their interest .You can also solve the issues. You can easily deal with your customers. you can get aware of people perceptions about your business. so that you can improves and fix the element they do not like . You can improve your deficiencies.

Social media has a intense impact on education. Enlargement of knowledge and information social media accommodate students with an educational content, inclusive of online courses and many more skills. It provides students to get knowledge of whatever topic they are interested in. Some students have domestic problems and they can not do outside for studies. There are so many universities that facilitate the students to achieve their goals while studying at home. Through social media the student can get any type of book in the form of pdf. This is beneficial for those people who have financial issues. They can get knowledge without spending money.

It provides people to get information and news easily. It is a great source of news for people all around the world. Social media is a source of faster news than traditional news sources such as newspapers and television. In the past era there were no social media so people used to have a hard time in knowing anything from another city or country. But nowadays we can get any news from anywhere. We get information about the wars, catastrophe, and many dangerous diseases etc through social media.

Social media is destroying and distracting youth through movies, games, and other negative information. For example children watch movies of every genre which is polluting their thoughts. Some times it even leads to crime because social media has no restrictions and a child can watch crime and horror movies etc which is harmful for their mental health . There are many living examples that movies lead to crime.

A 25 years old boy loved watching horror movies he was fond of them. he used to watch many horror movies. He killed 7 people using the same methodology of his favorite horror movies. Later when he was arrested and police investigated him, he admitted that he killed those innocent people because he thought he looked cool and people will later on love him as a villain, like those movies. Just like this case there are many other cases where people think that killing people is a cool thing and they can get away after killing people like in movies.

In past era children used to play outdoor games which was beneficial for their health and mind and also they had time to study but nowadays they do not even have time to eat just because they are entirely engaged in playing games, such as pubg. This act is not only harmful for their health but also harmful for their eyesight and mental health.
