This is exactly why I always emphasize moderation. Even something as essential and beneficial as vitamin C can have unintended consequences when taken in excess. What stood out to me in your post is how the same nutrient that supports immunity and healing can, in higher amounts, contribute to issues like kidney stones or even kidney damage. As we grow, we need to be cautious.

That was exactly my reaction after I had done this research. Everything in moderation. There was even an instance where one man destroyed his kidneys be drinking black tea. I believe it was 16 cups a day. Black tea has very high oxalate content. The man thought he was doing something healthy but he was destroying his kidneys.
