I am not as worried about my Laptop OS version as the mobile Android version! However, Just checked it! Looks like my version is 14!!
Hence, I am safe 😁
Sorry to hear that you have to go for a new one!

The Honor 200 Lite (2024 April) is a newer smartphone than the Motorola Moto G22 (2022 March) smartphone.
Probably there will be software security updates for the Honor 200 Lite smartphone for a few more years.
I hope so!
I am not the type of guy who buys a brand new phone whenever it is released. I only buy when the old one is dead! So, I hope that my honor won't die soon!
Me neither.
More than 10 years ago (from around 2013) I used a Huawei Ascend Y300 smartphone for around seven or eight years.
Of course I have not done banking, nor any other sensitive things on it.
This is a good practice, if you do not use it for sensitive things, for example banking and cryptocurrency transactions.
Hopefully.
Since it is from 2024, you have it probably only for a year old or for even less, depending on the purchase date, so you probably still have a warranty on it, so even if will, the seller or the manufacturer will still repair it (or exchange it to a new one) for free, depending on the warranty contract.
Of course if you have not purchased it as new, but as used (from a store), then probably the warranty is/was much less than for a new device, for example one to six months.
And if you purchased it completely from second hand (not from a store), then you probably have not had warranty for this smartphone at all.
If it was purchased as new, then it is important to keep its invoice, and probably its box with its accessories too.
And it could be important not to root your smartphone until you have warranty on it, because that could void its warranty, but of course this could also depend on the contract and/or in the country too.
But probably you already know these things.
I just wrote these things down as a few useful/helpful tips.
Thank you for all the information!
Yes, it was a brand new one. I think it's already over a year with me! I am not good at keeping dates :D
I was a Samsung user since 2010, I guess. For the first time, I chose something "not samsung-y"
