Titanfall 2 is Amazing.

Recently I purchased Titanfall 2 on the PS4 for a measly $3 USD (R$15 BRL). I knew the game was great as I heard Sr. Swag talk about it a lot on his channel, but the experience has honestly surprised me.

Solo

The game starts out with your captain, Lastimosa, giving you a tutorial on how the game works, and already with this tutorial you can see what makes this game so great. The tutorial is essentially a time trial, you run, shoot at targets and get to the end. But just the act of doing all that is quite incredible.

You even get a scoreboard on how well you did on the time trial.

The movement is honestly really really good, you can run on walls, double jump, slide, and all that whilst shooting at the same time.
Depending on how well you did on the time trial, the game sets an appropriate difficulty for you and I found this to be quite accurate as I'm having good fun and not suffering at all.

For an 8th gen game, the graphics are really quite something. They're impressive.
Specially once you get out of the tutorial and into the action.

After the tutorial run, your captain tells you your spaceship is under attack by the "bad guys" and it's time to get down there and wreak havoc on 'em.

Unfortunately everything goes wrong, your captain is killed and you're now the owner of his Titan (a mech, basically.)
This is another really interesting part about this game. You won't be spending 100% of the time just walking around on foot, a lot of the time you'll be inside a titan killing smaller enemies like they're ants and facing off against other huge and powerful titans.

Multiplayer

And this carries on to multiplayer as well, specially on my favourite mode of Attrition. Where the more enemy NPCs you kill, the more your titan gauge charges up until you can eventually call it in for battle.

It's more addicting than CoD or Battlefield, but with the way the community has evolved, it's way more difficult.
Most players nowadays are veterans so it's really hard at the beginning to do well. I'm getting better and better with time, but I still get my ass kicked, and my Titan gameplay is horrendous.
But I know with time I will get better.

The campaign has been awesome so far as well, with the bond between the player and the mech (yes, the mechs talk to you) becoming more and more friendly.

If you've played Apex Legends and want more of that, this game is totally for you. It's like Apex but without the Battle Royale; It's like Apex but with an incredible singleplayer story.

It's also interesting that this game used to be pretty much dead but it was revived by the community, and now you can find matches pretty much every night.
I really hope EA takes Titanfall further, or at least acknowledges that TF2 exists and does more with it... Because this is one hell of a game.

The multiplayer is so good. It could fool some people into believing that the game was released somewhat recently. I purchased it a few months back for under $5 too. Well worth the money.
