New CPU, Single Channel - Bad Gaming Experience

On this video I show how my upgrade that I promised on the last video went, but with a caveat. The motherboard I had to pick unfortunately only runs in single channel because one of the slots is broken. Overall I got better performance in some games, such as games that aren't open world or stuff like Warzone whilst getting worse performance in others, specially in more open world type of stuff like Cyberpunk 2077 and Spiderman Remastered.

The loss in performance wasn't too insane, but it's still a bit annoying that I'll have to deal with this. If all goes right, by the end of the same week I upload this video I'll already have a new motherboard with two sticks of RAM running in dual channel.

I'm still overall pleased with this upgrade, specially since they gave me a free new case with a DVD drive (I still use physical games sometimes lol).
And it's a bigger case too so it has more space for airflow.

Anyways, thanks for watching and reading! I'll have more content up soon and once all the upgrades are in place I'll have some content that's way more 'games'-oriented.

Have a good one folks!

Nice to see your upgrades coming along. Must feel nice even if it wasn't the upgrade you was looking for.

It's definitely still a good step. It's a few generations newer and some games are already running better.

Just gotta figure out where to get a cheap motherboard that's working fine. I'm in contact with the guys who sold me this one, they're cool, I think we'll have a deal soon.
