Un saludo para mi querido y gentil lector. He pasado estos últimas semanas investigando cual router sería el más factible para red banda ancha de fibra óptica que promete más de 100mbs y al parecer encontré el mejor! No sabía nada de la conectivida Wifi 6 fue de pura casualidad que entre en una tienda y pregunto por el precio de un router que tenga puertos gigabit y el vendedor me ofrece una opción con esta tecnología de Wifi 6 al cuál le dije que me instruyera ya que no sabía nada de esto; es básicamente un ancho de banda constante y con menor latencia incluso cuando la red está muy congestionada y esto es lo que más me gusta aunque no son muchos los dispositivos que se conectaran en mi hogar. Con este de router de wifi 6 se podrán conectar hasta 250 dispositivos.( no creo llegar a 20 con todos los que tenemos jajaja) pero para casas y familias muy grandes este sería ideal.

El sistemas Mesh se usa para las casas muy grandes y generalmente vienen como mínimo 2 o 3 dispositivos. Y funcionan como una misma red mucho mejor que con un extensor de rango ya que no se desconecta de la señal más débil para conectarse a la señal más fuerte ( pasa en casas de 2 pisos o muy largas) haciendo que por uno momento se reinicie lo que estabas haciendo en el móvil. ( imagínate que estés a punto de hacer una publicaciónen Liketu y suceda eso) en mi caso logré adquirir este router Xiaomi mesh System Ax3000 en una unidad (no necesito los 2) y lo mejor es que estaba al mismo precio que el otro router que tenia en mente adquirir, básicamente las necesidades que debía tener el que necesitaba eran:

• Con puertos Gigabit
• Dual Band (2.4 y 5) GHz
• como mínimo 400 mbps en 2.4 GHz
• Seguridad WPA3 (tecnología de cifrado de nueva generación)
• Y los más importante para mi es que tenga una aplicación móvil para fácil manejo y la aplicación Xiaomi Home me permite hacer muchas cosas. Como por ejemplo colocar un límite en el uso de datos por usuario, cambiar la clave de forma remota (osea no necesito estar conectado en la misma red para poder hacerlo) esto es estupendo además que al cambiar la clave/contraseña si tengo otro dispositivo de la familia Xiaomi (bombillo, timbre, camara entre otros) no es necesario colocarle la clave nueva ya que estos se emparejan automáticamente (¡yeah!)
  Otra cosa es que por su forma cilíndrica no se le aprecian las antenas ya esta están por dentro, además de tener un procesador de 3 núcleos Qualcomm 😮 para garantizar un experiencia en la fluidez de la red.

Y es que la tecnología Wifi 6 está desde el 2018 osea casi 5 años después es que me enteré, no se si a ustedes le está pasando lo mismo? La nomenclatura queda asi:

• Wifi 4: 802.11n
• Wifi 5: 802.11ac
• wifi 6: 802.11ax

Cabe destacar que para poder utilizar la tecnología de wifi 6 tanto el emisor como el receptor deben ser compatibles lo que significa que si tu móvil tiene la nomenclatura 802.11ax es positivo para poder obtener los beneficios de la tecnología wifi 6 siempre y cuando el router soporte esta tecnología (debe ser Wifi 6) para asi obtener la mejoras, de una mayor velocidad y un mejor funcionamiento cuando existan muchos dispositivos conectados

La caja es muy elegante de color blanco al destapar se puede observar una mini caja 📦 donde vienen el manual de usuario, la garantía, el cable de poder que trae conexión europea y un cable de datos para conectar el router con el módem

El largo de los cables tanto el de alimentación eléctrica como el de ethernet me parecen un poco cortos, claro no es que este pidiendo 10 metros de cable pero por lo menos un largo aceptable de 1.50metros o 1.80metros. Que es su defecto el de corriente mide solo 1 metro más o menos, y el de ethernet esta cerca de los 1.20metros. Esto no me gustó mucho pero viendo todas las ventajas es algo insignificante para mi.

Su forma es rectangular y por su apariencia pasa desapercibido ya que no posee antenas visibles así que ya mi novia lo vio puesto en la sala como parte de la decoración, y a mi me gusta su estilo; y recordando en todos los routers que observe que en el nombre del router independientemente del fabricante casi todos tiene un número, y ese número hace referencia a la capacidad de transmisión de datos en las dos bandas de 2.5GHZ y la de 5GHz osea que si el router tiene en el nombre modelo AAA 1200 significa que la capacidad es de 1200 Mbps dividido en las 2 bandas y generalmente en la banda de 5GHZ es mayor. Por ejemplo en la de 2.4GHZ serían 450 Mbps y en la de 5GHz serian 750Mbps. Otro punto que también es importante saber es que como la banda de 5Ghz envía y recibe mayor cantidad de Mbps su radio de alcance es menor.
