5 Things I Do Every Morning That Made Me Feel Better

If there is actually something that I have come to discover in this life, it is the fact that those little things that we usually ignore are those things that we should pay close attention to. Those little things that we thought are small will at the long run will produce massive result beyond what we can imagine. I personally, most of the time I can have a very stressful day. When you try to attend to your work schedule, your daily hustle and lots more, you can wake up angry sometimes most especially if it is Monday morning.

I believe I am not the only one that always wakes up every Monday morning angry sometimes. Most of the time, I always wish a new week should not actually start. There are some little changes that I have been doing in recent weeks that have actually been helping me to start my day with so much positivity as compared to them and I want to share it with us today.

The first thing I always do immediately I wake up is to drink water even before anything else. I hardly do that before but now I do it. Even before eating or drinking any other thing, I make sure I drink water at least one cup of water because I actually discovered that when we wake up, our bodies naturally is dry and so our body needs water to help clean our body system. It might look a bit insignificant but I have started noticing little changes especially in my skin.

I remember there was a time I usually complain of my phone addiction but now it is different. Immediately I wake up, I make sure I resist the urge to check my phone immediately. Instead of picking my phone to check WhatsApp, Facebook or other social media, I wake up to attend to my quiet time and generally a brief meditation of how the day goes. This helped to make sure my mind is in the right state and to help me reduce the rate I panic. Trust me, this has really make a big difference for my mental health.

The third thing I do whenever I wake up is to engage in exercise. Now this particular exercise is not really that rigourous and does not take time. I mean just casual stretching of myself. Sometimes those little exercise of stretching oru legs and hands can go a long way to help me stay fit and supply positive energy to start my day with. It even sometimes gives me that endurance spirit to keep going over and over again all through the day and I discovered it eventually increased my productivity.

The fourth thing I do which is probably after I am done with my daily morning chores is to eating something light but I make sure it is healthy. Sometimes if I have some fruit left over in the house, I make sure I take it or make some tea. I have stopped taking heavy food like eba or generally any heavy food in the morning because it usually makes my stomach so heavy all through the day and sometimes might even lead to constipation.

The last thing I do of course is to plan my day. I write out the goals I want to achieve for the day and make sure I stay true to it. This makes me to be focused and helps me to always be mentally ready all through for the day and it helps me to overcome distraction that might want to come during the day. Trust me, this has really helped me a whole lot and even till now I still even practice it over and over again I must confess.

One of the things I have noticed since I have started practicing this is sometimes those little things that we do which we thought will not count are those things that will eventually count at the end of the day. They help to produce result. I have seen it work over and over again actually and trust me, it has started producing result. It has gone a long way to improve my mental health state.
