Motherhood: Raising One's Child With Technology

Living in a fast-paced world and raising a baby without a nanny can be both entertaining but especially exhausting. Due to various factors like limited finance and lack of trusting a total stranger as a nanny to one's baby because of increasing cases of child abuse and inadequate care most times, many families has resolved to struggle with raising their children without any external help until the child is of school age. I fall very much into this category, and have unfortunately relied on technology to help out with babysitting using Cartoons many times.

Talking about it, cartoons can be a great way to keep kids entertained while you're babysitting. There are so many different cartoons to choose from, so you're sure to find something that the kids will enjoy.

From my little research, some tips for babysitting with cartoons includes:

  • Choose cartoons that are appropriate for the kids' age group.

  • Make sure the cartoons are educational or entertaining.

  • Take breaks from watching cartoons so the kids don't get too restless.

  • Depending on the child's age, encourage them to engage in activities other than watching cartoons, such as playing games, reading books, or doing puzzles.

My Sunshine watching cocomelons while I attended to some chores within the house.

With so many great cartoons to choose from, you're sure to find something that the kids will love. For me though, I've found the Cocomelons most interesting to my baby, the smiles on his face and occasional laughter when little JJ in the video moves can be funny. So next time you're babysitting, be sure to bring out the cartoons. Do you use cartoons for your babies sometimes? What do you think of employing technology in raising kids?
