Tricky gate install

IMG_20230907_120332.jpg

Iḿ back again with another video my last gate the main gate for the property. I can almost start building the actual house can´t wait!.

The gate:

  • 4.5meters wide so i can easily drive with a tractor through or other big machines.
  • It will be automatic when i have electricity on the property.
  • Metal tubing is all 80x40x2mm with adjustable hinges with an M20 bolt. Capacity per hinge is 200kg, you need this overcapacity in a child tries to climb or jump on it.
  • Post is 100x100x4mm, 1/3th needs to go in to the concrete.
  • Cost less then 250$ pure for metal, hinges and paint

It's amazing seeing that you spent just 250$ for such gate. Here in Italy a gate like that would cost at the very least some thousands of $ equivalent.

besides, when during the video I was seeing the chassis I could bet that you were going to make some big concrete poles while instead you filled with rocks and even on an aesthetic perspective, it looks really great!

Anyway, as promised this summer I helped my father-in-law doing works. Some of them quite hard BUT I have only some pictures about me helping him making bread :D

Eheheheh, the pizza oven is much much strategic my friend :D
And the bathtub, I had it when I was a child, but I almost never used it. Eventually I may enjoy it in a few years. For now I still prefer seaside and eventually lake!

Hey Buddy, I thought that you had some alternative accounts. Glad I found you anyway :D

😉😎👍 great job on that! I like how u used all the little stones. and smart to make the doors so high.. i saw one vid where they made the doors just above ground level, and it couldn't even swing open after they were done with everything.. :P

My main reason is that i like the fence on one level and a little bit against flooding. Its not super likely but we had a flood here in 1997. Now the water goes around my house.
