My son at the end of his Nanotechnology and Robotics project [ESP-ENG]
Saludos hivers, feliz de volver una vez más a esta agradable comunidad para contar algo más de mi aventura maternal; después de tener a mi primer retoño siempre digo que como madre es mucho lo que mis hijos me han enseñado y esa es una de las cosas que me ha demostrado que este proceso es un intercambio de aprendizajes porque no solo yo le enseño a mis hijos, ellos también me enseñan mucho más de lo que me esperaba, todo ello para mí es sorprendente lo cual me hace sentir muy bien.
Greetings hivers, happy to return once again to this nice community to tell something more of my maternal adventure; after having my first offspring I always say that as a mother is much what my children have taught me and that is one of the things that has shown me that this process is an exchange of learning because not only I teach my children, they also teach me much more than I expected, all this for me is surprising which makes me feel very good.
Héctor ha sido mi primer maestro en cuanto a la maternidad, está cursando el 5.º de bachillerato, este año escolar ha sido muy movido porque no solo son los trabajos, también está la parte de la promoción; además que esa cohorte debe dejar algo de provecho en la institución y a su vez enseñar a quienes se quedan en ella, toda esta labor es emocionante y me siento dichosa de poder acompañar a mi hijo en cada momento, siendo su mayor apoyo y aliento.
Hector has been my first teacher in terms of motherhood, he is in his 5th year of high school, this school year has been very busy because not only are the jobs, there is also the part of the promotion; also that this cohort must leave something useful in the institution and in turn teach those who remain in it, all this work is exciting and I am happy to accompany my son at every moment, being his greatest support and encouragement.
Este último año escolar en el liceo trajo consigo innovaciones tanto para los chicos como para los padres, quienes siempre estamos prestos ante cualquier evento escolar. La cátedra de física está dirigida por una profesora especialista en matemáticas a quien escogieron para liderar el proyecto de robótica; sin bien física está relacionada con números igual que matemáticas, esta vez tiene el gran detalle de la robótica, lo cual es el BOOM del momento por lo que a la profesora también se le ha hecho algo difícil la situación, ya que ella explica que de electricidad inicialmente no sabía nada, por lo que le ha tocado trabajar fuertemente como investigadora para luego ir a la práctica con los chicos.
This last school year at the high school brought innovations for both children and parents, who are always ready for any school event. The physics department is directed by a teacher specialized in mathematics who was chosen to lead the robotics project; although physics is related to numbers just like mathematics, this time it has the great detail of robotics, which is the BOOM of the moment, so the teacher has also found the situation somewhat difficult, as she explains that initially she knew nothing about electricity, so she has had to work hard as a researcher and then go into practice with the kids.
Desde inicios del segundo lapso, la profesora hablo sobre hacer una exposición representando a todo el grupo con un robot realizado con material de provecho; así pues, que llego el momento y los chicos pusieron manos a la obra para poder llevar a cabo este cierre de proyecto basado en la Nanotecnología y la Robótica, algo totalmente nuevo para todos. Aquí comienza mi nueva adquisición de conocimientos en este tema tan interesante, el cual no se quedó allí, porque tanto mi hijo como yo nos dimos a la tarea de investigar sobre el tema y lograra comprender de que se trataba todo ello.
Since the beginning of the second period, the teacher talked about making an exhibition representing the whole group with a robot made with useful material; so, the time came and the kids got down to work to carry out this project based on Nanotechnology and Robotics, something totally new for everyone. Here begins my new acquisition of knowledge in this interesting topic, which did not stop there, because both my son and I took on the task of researching the subject and managed to understand what it was all about.
Resulta que todo tiene que ver con la revolución tecnológica, donde los avances de esta ciencia denominada nanotecnología permite elaborar pequeños robots a los cuales también se les llama nanobots los cuales son diseñados muy pequeños con el fin de realizar tareas como diagnósticos médicos y eso fue exactamente lo que quiso hacer el grupo de Héctor; crearon con cartón un robot el cual pintaron con spray plateado y dorado y en los ojos lleva unas luces que funcionan para mejorar la labor que este hace.
It turns out that everything has to do with the technological revolution, where the advances of this science called nanotechnology allows the development of small robots which are also called nanobots which are designed very small in order to perform tasks such as medical diagnostics and that was exactly what Hector's group wanted to do; they created a robot with cardboard which they painted with silver and gold spray and in the eyes it has lights that work to improve the work it does.
El día de hoy fue la ejecución del proyecto, así que los muchachos en conjunto con el resto de las secciones de 5.º ambientaron un espacio para realizar tanto las exposiciones de cada sección como la muestra de los diferentes robots. Todos fueron muy ingeniosos creando dicho autómata, aun cuando se trata de la nanotecnología, las muestras fueron expuestas por los mismos muchachos.
Today was the execution of the project, so the boys together with the rest of the 5th grade sections set up a space for the exhibitions of each section as well as the display of the different robots. They were all very ingenious in creating the automaton, even though it is about nanotechnology, the samples were exhibited by the boys themselves.
En el caso de la sección "C" que es la sección de Héctor, fue el quién lucio el traje que lo hacía parecer un auténtico robot; dicha elección se realizó de manera unánime tomando en cuenta la estatura, contextura y fuerza porque la creación es pesada y se necesitaba a una persona de su porte, al principio él no quería por pena, pero después hasta yo lo convencí de hacerlo dándole múltiples razones para hacerlo.
In the case of section "C" which is Hector's section, he was the one who wore the suit that made him look like a real robot; this choice was made unanimously taking into account the height, build and strength because the creation is heavy and a person of his size was needed, at first he did not want to do it for shame, but then even I convinced him to do it giving him multiple reasons to do so.
Es la primera vez que mi hijo realiza un trabajo como este, pero al final quedo muy complacido, aunque el calor estaba fuerte, él disfrutó mucho siendo un robot, sus compañeros estaban felices por el logro obtenido y yo por supuesto, la alegría no me entraba en el pecho, por tanto, y tanto.
It is the first time my son has done a job like this, but in the end he was very pleased, although the heat was strong, he really enjoyed being a robot, his classmates were happy for the achievement and I of course, the joy did not enter my chest, so much, and so much.
No es la primera vez que mi hijo participa en un cierre de proyecto, pero cada vez que lo hace soy la más feliz de ver como se desenvuelve y crece en todos los aspectos. Ahora ya sabemos algo nuevo que próximamente será mucha ayuda en el mundo entero gracias a la tecnología y sus innovaciones.
It is not the first time that my son participates in a project closing, but every time he does it I am the happiest to see how he develops and grows in all aspects. Now we know something new that will soon be very helpful in the whole world thanks to technology and its innovations.

Que bonita mamá eres, Este post deja ver lo orgullosa que te sientes de que tu hijo de 4 año este en todo este proceso de aprendizaje. La robotica es un boom como dices y es grandioso que la institución educativa empiece a incluir esta cátedras que les genera ilusión, motivación y que seguro servirá para que más adelante de aquí nazcan muchos nuevos científicos.
