Well, neither of the two. 🙂 I mean, the flowers attract prey, but not those caught in the web. When the flowers fall into the web, the spider quickly removes them. The web is built on a shrub with many flowers, so they fall on the web quite often. But all those flowers around the web attract many insects that occasionally get trapped in the web. It's a great hunting ground for spiders, despite having to remove flowers from the web from time to time
