Doing it from behind

Have you ever done it from behind? Did you like it?

I suppose each will have their own opinion on it: Like it, tolerate it, or not like doing it from behind at all and that's how it should be - it's a free choice and no one should have to say they like it if they do not or hide that they do it...or be forced to do it.

Anyway, a couple days ago I decided to do it from behind and the images you see below are the result. I know, it's unconventional to take photos of flowers from behind but I think they can be just as interesting and beautiful from behind as they can from the front.

The flowers you see are daisies from my own garden and from the front one is straight purple and the other yellow but the underside of each...well I reckon they're interesting in their own way with the different colours they display and the green colour which is the bud the flowers have come out from sort of adds a nice contrast.

That's about it today, a few images of the back or underside of some flowers out of my garden. I think they came out ok but you will have to judge for yourself. if you've got any comments about the shots or even about doing it from behind feel free to leave them below.

A new perspective, since it was usually taken from the front. Great shots! I hope you have a great day :))

Ok... I just gotta touch on it.

First the murder of the weeds. These poor flowers distant cousins. Now your doing questionable things to the daisies... Juss sayin' 🤣😅😂😳😳

It may be uncomfortable for the flower to be in that position and almost lifeless (it was deprived of the garden), but that's the way things are nowadays. It left its beauty imprinted forever on the Blockchain thanks to you. It's all a matter of perspective. 😁

Perspective, yes indeed.

I don't luck plucking flowers just for the sake of a photo but these were in a little vase my partner made anyway, so it seemed alright. They came out ok huh?

My crazy mind is seriously thinking about something else. But nevermind that ╮(^▽^)╭.

You just gave me an idea about taking a shot of something. I think I never tried doing it from behind, but now I want to try and see if it'll give me an amazing result too, just like this. I will try it now ಠಿ_ಠ

Haha...well, that's what I was going the title would make people think.

So...you're going to do it from behind too huh? Nice. Let me know how it goes.

Purple green color combination on the first flower = beautiful.

Have you ever done it from behind?

Doggy maximalist pose, forever 🤣

I'll think about the objects that would look interesting in the photo if we took a picture of them from behind...Then I'll look for them...

That's my favourite too, for the same reason, a nice mix of colours.

Let me know if you do it from behind at any stage, photograph things that might look good from the back angle.

This cane umbrella on the seashore beach is all I see all day 😃
I just don't know which is the front, which is the back 🤔

I'm not sure if there's a front or back, maybe a top and bottom instead?

Those are nice shots. I haven't really looked at the back of flowers so I'm surprised that they can have these mesmerizing lines as well.

Thanks, i thought they came out pretty well. Daisies are pretty nice on their undersides no matter the colour on the top of the petals...the wonder of nature huh?

Steve Jobs’ dad always said “Always paint the back of the drawer. Even if no one sees it, you’ll know it’s there”.

I love that idea. The idea that the back of something that we usually don’t see, can hold the secrets of everything we take for granted.

People tend to see things as they are and simply accept it as the reality, but look deeper and there's often something more...the same goes with the perception of other people.

Good suggestive title hahahaha

I think it should be a free choice without pressure because otherwise it's not nice to do it from behind. I haven't done it yet...hahahaha being forced to do it is horrible, imagine how the pictures would look!

It will be interesting to try it from behind to see the result...

In this case the second picture is the one I like the most, especially for the shadow generated and the colour of the flower, doing it from behind wasn't bad at all!

Seeing things differently, from different perspectives, can reveal things we'd not normally perceive and that goes for looking differently at other people when appropriate.

Very true, different perspectives can be applied to everything in life and can surprise us many times, for better or for worse.

What a wordsmith you are. You did it from behind quite well. I’ve not done a flower from behind yet but now I want to.

One must wordsmith when one gets the chance, must one?

The shots came out ok, maybe give doing it from behind a go sometime, photograph something from a different angle, it could be quite satisfying.

It's kind of funny, the other day I did decide to get some different perspectives of my plants, I felt like one of those weird asshole photographers lying down and doing all kinds of weird shit for a photo. Thankfully it was just my deck and nobody was around to see it.. lol but it did take a cool photo. A little upskirt action 😯

Well, as long as that camera isn't pointed through the windows of the neighbours then I'd say you're all clear to proceed.

I like to have some fun, not take things too seriously, and so titles like this happen from time to time. 😏

Doing it from behind is something I find so enjoyable. So why not do it all the time?
I must confess that I really loved the way you captured this beautiful specimen from behind.
