I have Belgium on my list for a future trip but never thought about exploring the forest paths. I'm happy I've found this through your post though as there are never too many ideas for a great trip :)

What are your travel goals in Belgium?
There are not many forests here if you look at the map, but some of these are special, my next forest to visit here is Hallerbos. It's the most beautiful during spring though.
I'm more into the urban life and culture but would love to venture on some outdoor paths too 😊
