Why your parrot(pet) may never speak.

When people think about having a bird as a pet, the first thing that comes to mind will definitely be a parrot. At the point of desire or purchase, people would imagine their new parrot speaking to them very well.

Surely, not all species of parrots can talk, even those of them who can talk may decide not to speak. Before you begin with the speech training, you need to be sure that your pet is good enough for speech training. Also, there is a need to realize that, some pets will naturally speak more than others.

Parrots could also experience depression, which could be caused as a result of solitude and boredom. Parrots are naturally social animals who need companionship and interaction to thrive very well, so if that is absent, your dear pet may enter into depression.

When you notice that your parrots are beginning to feel unhappy or uncomfortable, it is significant to identify what the reason could be and begin to treat them accordingly. We must know that when a parrot feels safe, it is more likely that it will also feel comfortable enough to interact.

To encourage your parrot to talk, spend some quality time together and interact with them, speaking to them consistently and gently. When your parrot makes a sound, rewarding him or her with love and attention will encourage him.

Having an understanding that not all these parrots can speak, we must highlight some of the existing species of these parrots, and what they are capable of doing.
