Feeding your Pet Raw Meals, How Appropriate Is It?
We are all aware that the animals in the wild consume raw and unprocessed meats, but that is okay for them because nature makes it so, for animals who have become domesticated, I do not think that raw meats or food is safe for their consumption.

Some people around here believe that feeding raw meat to their dogs for example would make them more aggressive and if this is a goal to be achieved, they feed these raw meats to the pets. I don't know about how true this myth is or how the people who believe in it have been able to achieve their goals so far.
We now have raw meat-based diets that are marketed as "biologically appropriate raw food or bones", they include uncooked ingredients that come from wild animals or livestock, it may be produced on a home-based scale or a commercial scale.
In the 1990s and early 2000s, there was a widespread campaign on natural diet for cats and dogs, the authors compared natural diet with conventional processed diets, claiming that the natural diets help to improve skin and mental health, prevent or control disorders that are affecting the major parts of the body systems, they also believed strongly in its behavioral advantages it offers.

In normal terms, raw meats are advised to be cooked to destroy the potentially harmful bacteria in them. Clostridium, Campylobacter, Listeria, Salmonella, and E.coli can be transmitted to humans who are engaged in the preparation of the meal or who clean up their bowls. Transmission is also possible through contact with an infected pet, whether there is a situation of licking of the face or the hands.
In raw pet food, Salmonella has been identified to be the most common type of bacteria found there. This infection has been shown to cause; fever, nausea, stomach cramps, and headaches. In a situation of severe food poisoning, the individual will need to be hospitalized. Immunocompromised individuals who are infants, children and elderly are at a higher risk of contracting the disease.

Investigations were carried out on both commercially and home-prepared raw diets, and they were found to have nutritional problems, like an imbalance of phosphorus or calcium, and some vitamins.
Giving meat to your pet is certainly a great idea, they have great health benefits, but it is best to go for the option of cooked meat rather than the raw one. While cooking meat, take out all forms of bones that could pose choking hazards, then boil or bake it.
Harmful additives are a thing we are also very used to, these seasonings or spices could make your pet sick, but also help them cut into little sizes to aid chewing and digestion.
Feeding raw food to our pets is not only dangerous to them, but even to pet owners too. For whatsoever reason you have to have been feeding your pet raw meat all the while, I hope this post makes you think twice about your actions.
