Mushrooms (Auricularia americana) are a type of fungus that have a rubbery body texture, similar to jelly. They have a distinctive shape with dark reddish brown fruit bodies, similar in shape to earlobes. They also grow naturally in the wild and on dead, damp trees, when they are small they have a whitish pink color like the two pictures I have prepared.
