From Private Lives to Public Profiles: The Death of Digital Boundaries
Technology has been rapidly evolving in the modern times and that is something that you are seen in the past few decades as it has been practically just in an instant where we have seeing the rise of Technology in multiple aspect as well as the domination by social media and other platform which is been visible is at a tremendous rate and all of this is now making a lot of development through data collection and that has been something which has been a big concern that a lot of people has raised as it is something that is invading into the People's privacy.
Privacy is something that is massively overlook in the modern times because in the name of Data Collection it is something that is given no attention and that is being done through the modern technology and attaining data about people is something that has become very much simple for the Tech Giants today and this is something that is a big concern because it is going to be something that is already making a lot of progress towards blurring the line between privacy and invasion and it is a very big question if privacy will at all exist in about a couple of decades from now.
The current condition of privacy in the digital aspect is extremely fragile because we need to be looking forward towards how it is happening right now, which is almost negligible, to say the least. After all, we are constantly being tracked in almost every aspect. After all, almost every application constantly has an eye on what location we are in as well as what conversations we are having at our own home as well and a lot of algorithms are also put in place by companies to understand our behaviour online.
Even the government is also something that is involved in bleaching privacy in many regards because there has been a very easy thing that they have been implementing and doing all of this in the name of surveillance as it is something that is going to be for the security of the country itself which is why it is also getting ourselves exposed to them along with the fact that there are a lot of personal data in many plant forms the cross the world which involves a lot of things that can be ranging from as complicated as our medical reports to as sample as the browsing history of ours.
All of the technology that is been developed today as well as the things that we are going to be getting ourselves involved in the future as well or based on this particular aspect itself which is going to be making privacy even more difficult to be something that is going to be implemented such as the biometric identification is something that is getting more and more common among the different devices that we use today which is going to be giving our biometrics away in the public itself which can be used in very different ways and the collection of data through even the simplest of devices such as even our electric toothbrush is going to be tracking our habits in many ways which is something that can be used in some other way as well because data reaches or something that are extremely common and all of this data is told by the step companies can easily be given to some unethical sources.
The word part about all of this is that there is almost low legal protection about all of this because there has been already a lot of concern that is growing in this regard and their have been a little bit of effort to protect our data and keep our privacy safe but all of those efforts have not been that effective to be saying the least because all of these regulations are looking forward towards making the process a little bit better and that is only done by providing consent before the date of that is what is getting collected from us but that is something that is definitely not very great and in the end it just provides a lot of loop holes that are waiting to be exploited.
The modern culture has also seen a lot of changes in the recent few decades because something that has been noticed in the modern times at least on social media is the fact that people are no longer that much attentive about their privacy because everything is being overshared on social media today as something that used to be a private moment with your self in the past is something that is a content today and that is what is this generation shift is showcasing to all the first which is making privacy something that is no longer something that is getting any attention at all because people are choosing to be doing so.
It is very difficult to predict how the future of privacy is going to be looking like a especially the way technology is getting evolved every single day as well as the importance that privacy is Losing on a very regular basis there can be a lot of things that can go right in this regard because decentralized internet is something that is getting more and more promoted these days and it can be one of the options that people can choose to have a much more private and controlled way to be Reliance on the Internet itself because the centralised platform today are taking up as much data as they want and they can take and in comparison platforms that are decentralize are giving full authority and control of the data to the users itself.
Apart from all of this it is going to be coming down on the personal choice that people are going to be making as today as well there are a lot of pops that people can be choosing to keep their privacy save but people are not getting themselves involved in it and that is what is something that is being exploited by the companies as well which is something that we need to be changing in our habits which is something that we need to be providing a little bit of more attention towards privacy which is something that is a fundamental human right.

Nice talk about privacy and security.
The whole thing is alarming yet fine by the leaders of countries and owners of various internet apps, sites and the rest.
Even the sites/apps that notify us of having our chats encrypted, are the ones having the bigger views on us🤣
This is a really important and timely topic. You've captured well how much we've traded convenience for control, often without realizing it. The point about biometric data and even smart devices like toothbrushes collecting behavioural data really hit home. It's alarming how litlle legal protection exist and how much personal responsibilities we carry to safeguard our own privacy.
Also, your mention of decentralised platforms as a potential path forward is encouraging. We definitely need more conversations and awareness around tools that give users control. Thanks for sharing this
