LPUD: Increasing My Leo Power and the FreeCompliments Curation Account’s Leo Power! January ‘24 Edition

This is the New Year version of LPUD! I’m sure we’ve all made our resolutions to power up more $LEO, but are we going to keep them? Only time and effort will tell.

My Own Leo Power Up

This month, with a relatively steady posting frequency and continuing my Leo Premium, I managed to collect 553 LEO (compared to 670 last month).

I think I can partially attribute this to posting fewer Threads and seeking curation from leocuration a little bit less. With my current LP, I should take full advantage of putting out 8 posts for curation per month. It just goes to show how important it is to be active in all aspects of InLeo in order to keep your rewards up – do not slack!

This month, I’m keeping all of the $LEO for myself! @fc-curation will no longer receive $LEO staking for reasons which will become clear within a few days.

Powering Up the FreeCompliments Curation Account

I’m all about building up the FreeCompliments community (as if I haven’t made that blatantly obvious over the past year). However, all power-ups that happen through this account will be from $LEO earnings, and none will come from me any longer. There’s a good reason for this which will become clear in a few days.

So, let’s power up the 17.877 $LEO that has been accumulated through passive growth (up from 13.5 passively earned $LEO last month).

Slow, steady growth! Holding $LEO price constant, this is going to continue increasing month by month. If $LEO’s price increases, this may be lower – but it will be worth more!

Even though I won’t personally add LP to this account any more, it is forever going to be a part of the FreeCompliments curation trail, so let’s keep it passively growing so that it can deliver some LEO when voting as well.

A Bonus Little Power-Up from hive-140084 (the FreeCompliments Community Account)

Yet again, another increase from the prior month! This is without posting nearly as many Threads as before. In fact, I haven’t posted a Thread using this account for about 2 weeks now.

Well, this account is forever going to be a part of the FreeCompliments curation trail, so we’ll keep it growing so that it can deliver some LEO when voting as well.

The Future

The Leo Power journey for the FreeCompliments community continues, but is still just at the very beginning. We’re going to continue growing our LP and distributing curation in ever-increasing amounts. We’ll also curate posts and comments directly in the community – same account will be used, so if you decide to go into the community, you’ll also be earning Leo Power!

Now, even though I’m not going to add LP to the fc-curation account any longer, you’re in for a bit of a surprise in a few days because something better will come along for the Leo Power enthusiasts! Stay tuned.

This power up day has been successful! Next Leo Power Up Day, we’ll power up even more Leo so that we can support all of our growing Hive and Leo family. Let’s keep roaring, Lions.
