LPUD: Increasing My Leo Power and the FreeCompliments Curation Account’s Leo Power! February ‘24 Edition

We’ve already reached the middle of February, and it feels like the New Year just came! Yet, it’s already time for the 2nd LPUD of 2024. Coincidentally, it came just around Valentine’s Day – how lovely. So, let’s get right to it.

My Own Leo Power Up

This month, with a relatively steady posting frequency and continuing my Leo Premium, I managed to collect 552 LEO (compared to 553 last month).

I believe that, aside from a single week, I did increase my posting frequency this month, but we’ve also recently had node issues delaying the delivery of liquid $LEO. Overall, with this in mind, my actual earnings were likely a little bit higher than last month. I can’t really say that I’m feeling much “growth” during this month, as compared to prior months.

From now on, I’ll be keeping all of the $LEO for myself, as I’d like to achieve “Leader of the Pack” status (which is 50k Leo Power).

Powering Up the NEW FreeCompliments Threads Curation Account

I’m all about building up the FreeCompliments community (as if I haven’t made that blatantly obvious over the past year). We recently opened the fc-leo-curator account, specifically dedicated for Threads. You can read more about it here.

I initially loaded this account with 2134 Leo Power. It’s now grown by 2.2 $LEO just from curation rewards (there was trouble posting from the InLeo frontend, so we can definitively say that curation was the only source). Let’s power it up and see how it grows over the course of the next month!

Powering Up the other FreeCompliments Community and Curation Accounts

There are still several other community accounts sitting around and curating on our growing curation trail (which you can join here to earn 1 HSBI per month)! Among them are the major token holders @hive-140084 and @fc-curation. Let’s power them up.

First, the main community account – we’re adding 24.58 LP!

Next, @fc-curation.

We’re adding 8 LP this time around. These are all curation rewards!

Why not go for one more? @fc-rewards, which has a surprising amount of unstaked $LEO! Let’s stake it all.

Staking 42 LP on top of the original 26 which was already there. Basically tripling the stake – sweet.

Slow, steady growth! Holding $LEO price constant, this is going to continue increasing month by month. If $LEO’s price increases, this may be lower – but it will be worth more!

The Future

The Leo Power journey for the FreeCompliments community continues, but is still just at the very beginning. We’re going to continue growing our LP and distributing curation in ever-increasing amounts. We’ll also curate posts and comments directly in the community – the same accounts will be used, so if you decide to go into the community, you’ll also be earning Leo Power as long as you post from the InLeo frontend (inleo.io)!

Conclusion

This power up day has been successful! Next Leo Power Up Day, we’ll power up even more Leo so that we can support all of our growing Hive and Leo family. Let’s keep roaring, Lions.
