Happy Rosh Hashanah!

Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year as dictated by ancient customs among the early Jewish population. It is largely considered the first of the Jewish High Holy Days, which continue for 10 days after the commencement of the Jewish New year and end with Yom Kippur, which is a day of atonement and repentance, a day when the days who follow it will fast and attend extended religious services in a synagogue.

Rosh Hashanah starts today, Friday September 15th, at sunset, and concludes Sunday September 17th. So let’s wish each other Shana Tova (which translates into “a good year”) and make this coming one the best of our lives!

And a very happy Rosh Hashanah to you! This post was quite a coincidence as some friends from Isreal who live here on Koh Samui invited us to a party on Friday night to celebrate and I had to Google and read up :-)
Best wishes to your loved ones and keep doing what you're doing. Thank you for being here.
