2 New Job Listings & Job Creation with Hive Stake-Based Income as Payment: Nominators for the FreeCompliments Community!
Over the course of last year, the FreeCompliments Community has created a few consistent jobs that pay out in HSBI. We’ve kept a payroll that has helped with the productivity and growth of the community. Now, I introduce another job with two (2) positions!
Using the HSBI (Hive Stake-Based Income) model to pay employees allows them to receive permanent income as long as they keep creating posts. This means that even if they work for only a month or so, they’ll have a lifetime income, in the form of votes, as a result of the HSBI Units they receive, provided they keep posting to Hive.
The Job Positions
This job is intended to be done by two people, each with their own position and pay. The position will simply be called “Nominator.” Each of you will contribute nominations for our Post of the Month, Compliment of the Month, and Non-Compliment Comment of the Month. However, you will nominate 1 of each of these categories every week and send them to me.
Thus, we will have an average of approximately 4 (sometimes 5) nominations per category per person, for a total of 8-10 nominations per month.
This will involve going through the posts and comments and choosing your favorites. The criteria will be up to you, although I encourage nominations to be for content that is unique, creative, full of effort, and/or highly personal. The content should be original, but augmentation with AI is OK (if used, for instance, to help with grammar, spelling, etc.).
When sending the nominations, ensure that you don’t choose the same post; this means that the two nominators would have to communicate with each other to ensure that the overlap does not occur. The nominations may be reported to me either via Discord or via Hive itself (which may actually give an opportunity for curation).
Preference will be given to applicants who have been active within and members of the community longer.
The payment offer
Each position will earn 10 HSBI per month. I am keeping track of post and comment count, so as these increase within the community, the pay could increase. I will, however, never decrease the pay.
Continuing to build Hive’s economy by adding different types of jobs
The additional creation of jobs with various structures permits the expanding use case of Hive as a payment for services, in line with Hive’s function as a medium of exchange. Creating multiple types of jobs using a similar payment system provides an initial basis for what can be considered a fair payment, thus establishing Hive as a unit of account. The more jobs are created with Hive, the more we will validate its practical value. Once this happens, we will more readily be able to establish a consistent value of assets in terms of Hive, since it will be attached to work requirements; this will establish Hive’s store of value. Combining all of these factors will turn Hive into functional money.
An economy must be built upon functional money. This is why we must take steps to ensure that Hive can, indeed, function as intended. Let’s continue creating different types of jobs and establish Hive’s practical value with practical use cases.
Conclusion
In order to help the FreeCompliments and help continue the validation of Hive and HBD as valid forms of money, this is a job posting using HSBI with a different purpose and, thus, a different structure of payment. Let’s continue building both the community and bringing value to the Hive economy.

As far as innovative ideas go, this is a really good one. It takes foresight to be able to come up with something as good as this. The pay is fair for a start, and hopefully the idea turns out to be everything you hoped for. Well-done, it's a beautiful idea and I can it see developing into something grounded and fulfilling.

This is a great initiative to use HSBI to provide permanent income, it is innovative and demonstrates a commitment to sustainable growth, in addition to encouraging users to support this great community, for me the payment of 10 HSBI per month seems fair for the work described, and the potential to increase remuneration as the community grows is encouraging, since there are new opportunities and job market for hive users, in addition with this great opportunity to attract more users to both the community and the Hive platform.
Considering Hive's focus on building the economy, it might be beneficial to explore other positions:
Moderation roles, multimedia content, or project development, even digital marketing, this is a great point to publicize both hive and this great community that is taking great steps.
It is exciting to see how these initiatives can strengthen the Hive economy and benefit community members
