PEPTEvent Tech #3 Our PEPT Web3 ideas are not that far fetched after all.

I came across an excellent interview on Web3 by the creator of the word Web3. I like his response to project success. I can relate. #lol

I am still reading my new Web3 book but already I am able to make connections with the information presented and the various components of ePayTraffic products and services. Services being the keyword. Products can be represented as a type of token behind a service being provided.

PEPT Web2 to Web3 Transition
When I first came across a manual traffic exchange site it was from an advertisement on a Paid To Click (PTC) site. At the time I was exploring some ideas of generating multiple income streams from online activities. After spending many hours surfing on many traffic exchange sites I realized there was a lot more going on than getting paid for viewing ads or making commission on an overpriced upgrade.

I saw the value in a vanilla script but the implementation promoted by the script owner seemed to be enough of a bottleneck that it limited the earning potential of using the script As-Is. Sometimes technology usage is just another case of a tail wagging a dog scenario. I am reminded of my Learn Before You Earn blog.

In our PEPTEvent Tech #2 series, I mentioned

Now Hive is a great wrapper for me cause it provides an additional layer of protection.

I created VeridiPass, MemberQualityScorecard and MQSApproved to provide a platform that could be used across many partners sites. Many sites have similar visitors and if your site has a reward system, it will likely be challenged by dishonest players. As I learn more about Smart Contracts, I am starting to see they have the flexibility to meet my requirement for Member Identity, Member Reputation, Member Access and Approved Content.

For readers that have not seen PEPTEvent Tech #2 please review the following link for background information.

In the first chapter of Web3, I learned about Web3 Primitives. We covered 6 Web3 native primitives, the building blocks of the new internet.

  1. Tokens: How we represent value digitally.
  2. Consensus Algorithms: How we agree on the state of a decentralized network.
  3. Smart Contracts: How we automate commercial agreements.
  4. Decentralized Autonomous organization: How we coordinate assets and action.
  5. Zero-Knowledge Proofs: How we program privacy into Web3
  6. Wallets: How we manage our digital goods and identities.

In another blog I will provide more information about the above building blocks and how they are reflected in various elements of services delivered by Project ePayTraffic. I have already blogged about various tokens and wallets used by PEPT but not so much on Service Level Agreements. So be on the lookout for more content coming. Don't forget, when you are holding PEPT tokens you have a vested interest in the success of various projects along our journey. Don't get caught sitting on the sideline waiting for answers to many unknowns. However do not hesitate to share your thoughts and ask questions. It's how we all get rewarded for our time here.

Welcome again to another #peptevent for converting small efforts into some valuable tokens. By participating you are contributing to a token valuation just like discussed in the interview link above.

This event is about earning some #epay tokens for sharing some thoughts. Try and comment before the next PEPTEvent on technology in 7 days.

100 ePay token will be transferred from @PEPT Banker account with memo PEPTEvent Tech #3 to all qualifying commenters who hold a minimum of one(1) #peptide
https://he.dtools.dev/richlist/PEPTIDE

Bonus - The number of #PEPTide you hold is a multiplier. That means if you have 10 PEPTide you get 100x10 = 1,000 ePay tokens.

Offer limited to maximum of 10,000 ePay tokens.

Share your thoughts on what you have learned on Web3

Question: Do you see value in a traffic exchange service on a blockchain live Hive?

Yes, I can see the value providing the tokens (digital assets) to pay for services, access content, participating in governance and much more. The need to have a compatible wallet the supports the token standard and a smart contract that implement the the token logic. This is just a drop in the bucket as to the potential value in a traffic exchange service on a blockchain live Hive.
Looking forward to the continued #peptevent tech series. That first chapter of Web3 is loaded.
#luv that energy and the interview on Web3 by the creator of the word Web3.

It's exciting when you can apply what you're learning in a book to real situations. It sounds like you are understanding how ePayTraffic products and services work together. It's interesting to think of the products as tokens behind the services offered.
Keep reading and exploring, I'm sure you'll continue to learn a lot more!
