Infection Prevention Week in Our Hospital
Greetings of the day,
So two days ago kind of special day in hospital. We was having this Infection Prevention Week program and honestly I didn’t expect it will go so nice. Morning time everyone was bit busy, some making chart, some putting banner, few arranging quiz paper and all that. I also helped little, though I came bit late because of traffic.
Before quiz started, our infection control team was talking about how important this week is. They said even small things like hand washing or using gloves properly can stop big infection. I was like, yeah we do these things daily but never think seriously about it. Somehow when they said it again, it felt meaningful.

Then quiz started and whole hall become full of energy. Few nurses was whispering answers, some laughing, few trying to remember what they studied in training time. Senior sisters also joined and they was answering really confidently. One question about PPE made everyone confused and someone gave funny answer, so all started laughing.
At the end, one team won, they got small gift and certificate. But no one felt sad because all was smiling and clapping. For me it was not only quiz, it was like reminder that infection control is not just topic, it’s habit we have to live with daily.
After everything finished, we all clicked one group photo. Everyone was looking tired but happy. While going back I just thought, simple days like this actually give best feeling. Nothing fancy, but lot of togetherness and learning.

Greetings 🤗 Well, I think we can never talk enough about the great kindness of healthcare workers. Although I would be a little scared to take an exam or test. Congratulations, working in healthcare is admirable. Hugs.
