I'm not buying it yet. While AI keeps getting better, there's still no substitute for a human voice on the other end of the line. It gets very frustrating when the "computer" doesn't understand your question and obviously doesn't have any sympathy or empathy for your plight.

I agree 100% on the analytics side of things. AI can probably do that a lot better and more efficiently (although it will still have problems with extenuating circumstances), but you still need a human at the actual point of contact, in my opinion.

You are right Dagger, while 80% of tasks can be handled by AI, we still need human intervention for special cases.

AI cannot replace humans completely.

For service part AI is good but when it comes to solving an issue I prefer humans on the other end to understand my requirements

AI can be helpful but I don't think they can be complete replacements. For commonly used stuff, I think it's fine though and I think any system without an option to speak to a representative horrible.

I think AI helps a lot in many ways, but for sure humans are still irreplaceable.

I believe humans will have the heart to understand the different concerns of everybody.
