Tips on making your drinking water cleaner.
Water is also the essence of life; the same way we need air to survive, we also need water to survive because, without it, many things cannot be done. Why do you think the earth has been able to survive all these harsh things humans have done to it? Because it has enough water in it, and the highest amount of oxygen created on earth is from the ocean.

Anyway, we are not here to discuss that, but to talk about how clean my drinking water is and how I made it clean to my taste. While growing up, I was told, "Water is a substance that is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless liquid." With this definition, it is enough to tell you what I use to qualify as good drinking water for myself.
I grew up in a little harsh environment where the last thing we had to worry about was how clean our water was. My body has grown to adapt to the kind of water I am drinking without any side effects. I am not saying this is the best, and you should not push for more clean water.
There was a particular year I went camping with friends in a remote area that was not too far from a small town. It was in the forest, and we found a flowing stream. Since we are out of water, we took water from the stream, boiled it, and then drank it. There were a lot of dry tree branches that we use for fire, and yes, we took some cooking utensils just in case we needed to cook some food. We went hurting too, but the water was a blessing to us, and we were able to last longer on the camping site. So, boiling water is one way to keep your water clean.

You know, people who live in the city actually don't know where their water comes from; most of the time, they just take water from the tap and drink it. This is something I do most of the time if my bottle of water is out and I am out of cash to buy more. Well, there are some people who don't have the funds to buy bottles of water like my homies, and this is what we do. Since we are the ones who pump our water into our tank, we got a water filter.
At first, when we got the water disinfectant filter, the taste of our water changed. I was wondering what could have caused it. I did some searching and found out that the disinfectant in the filter is known as chlorine or something. I got the filter so I could drink clean water, not chemicals. It was then that I understood why the water had a bad taste. We changed the filter to something without chemicals—a filter that would help us filter out any dirt in our water.
My homies and I also take turns cleaning the tank, so it remains clean; that way, we are able to get all the clean water we want.
These are the ways I have been able to get myself clean water over the years.

Nice tips bro. Clean water is needed for a healthy living.
Yes it is
Why should filters even come chlorinated. The taste of that water was bad, maybe because the chlorine reacted with the filter materials. I'd rather use regular filter or just boil my water.
These days, I mostly do packaged water or I take from home, since we treat it ourselves and it's clean enough.
Yeah. Some of this filter contain chemicals when newly bought which people don’t even know. Boiling is the best tho.
Me I know you’re a big woman
Most time I tAke water from home or I just buy when I’m out
With these steps, one can assured that his health is preserved. Thanks for sharing these wonderful tips.
Thanks for reading sir😌👍
Awesome tips especially cleaning the tank as I had a first-hand experience in my University days and during my national youth service then. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Some people tank don’t even have cover and there was a day we decided to clean a man tank that doesn’t have cover. We saw a dead bird in it😭😭😭
And people have been drinking from it.
Last time we went camping years back we did same thing, we don't know if the water was good for drinking or not but the moment we boiled it we were sure it was suitable for drinking.
😂😂😂
This is what most campers do
I still believe boiling of water is one of the best way of preserving and cleaning water
It's a good thing to have clean water and be able to filter out the chemicals in your water. @fashtioluwa
Yes
It is

Welcome. See you around here in the community too. @fashtioluwa
Boiling water is one good way to take good care of our water and am tempted to say it's the best.
Thanks for sharing
It’s the best for us here and everywhere. Even in movies, when they want to purify their water, the tend to boil it. It’s just that we can’t be boiling our water everytime
Yes, I read that one can purify water with disinfectant like chlorine but I think it's not ideal for the body system. When I was staying with my aunt, she taught me how to boil water and also filter it before drinking especially when we were fetching from the well.
Oh
Well
You’re right about the chemicals
It’s not good for the body
I use boiled water too
Water is something most people don’t pay attention to. We need water as humans and the water we take in can affect us in a good or bad way.
See the nice view you’re enjoying.😃
ehehehe, It was your last comment. It took the words I wanted to type down out of my head. well, we need to pay more attention to the water we drink
I won’t mind you.😂
You see those overhead tank right and left? Some people's own stay decades without cleaning
Really, what humans consume is sickness sometimes, no wonder typhoid has refused to leave us
Lol
Nice tips bro
very true. Most of this water always cause people sickness. This is why some people fall sick when they change environment, it because the water they are drinking before is bad or the new one is bad
Boiling, filtering and using some harmless chemicals are ways of purifying water. The reason the chlorine tasted bad was because you are not used to it or probably it was too much. You can also try using safe guard for your water. It is safe and hygienic👍
Is that also a chemical 🌚
Yeah but a harmless one
Coughing
I see 🌚
😂😂
Harmless chemicals are often used to treat our water but we won't like the taste of those chemicals. And how clean water looks doesn't determine if it is totally harmless
Well
I like my water tasteless and harmless😫😫
