Being smart has its own advantage; you get to understand and apply knowledge that is alien to other people. Technology has made it easy for us to have the internet in our hands, and access it anywhere we want. The device is known as the "Smart phone."

There are different kinds of phones and devices that do what other devices can do, but there are some that are tagged "Smart" because of their capability or the things they can do. It is common to see smart phones in the hands of people who don't know the potential of what they possess. A wise man once said

If the use of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable.

Many people out there have been abusing their smart phone because they don't understand the hidden benefit in their phones. There are smart phones that are used for cinematography, and it comes out well. There are people who are making money from photography just using their smart phone; other people are creating modules just on their smart phone; and there are others who are in possession of this smart phone but always complain they have nothing to do and are yet to achieve anything.

One thing people don't understand is that you don't need to get a laptop before you can start taking an online course. There are many courses that can be done online just on the phone, one beautiful part about the smart phone is that "You have to be smart to operate a smart phone"

Being smart doesn't mean the educational type of smart but being smart in the technological aspect. There are many people with minicomputers in their palms but don't know how to operate them. Now, here comes the question.

Is it ok to possess a device you know nothing about its functionality?

To me, I believe it's fine to have a smart phone if you want to learn how to use it to make yourself productive than to show it off to friends when you don't know the functionality of it.

I started my tech journey on my smart phone, it was a rough one but I learnt a lot of things, this knowledge helped me when I got my laptop, it made it easy for me to navigate through all the platforms and companies I work for. You can start today; you can unlock the hidden potential of your smart phone and make the most of it. A lot of people earn passive income from the job they do on their smart phone, many content creators both on web2 and web3 platforms started on their smart phone.
