ADVANCEMENT OF SCIENCE AND OTHER IMPACT.

Science is everything and everything is science. This is my personal assertion. I say so because there are different components or science covers lots of things. No wonder we have pure science, social science, political science, medical science etc this shows that science encompasses everything and everything is science.

Every technological advancement is a derivative of science. It's with the scientific knowledge that results to any form technological advancement we have today. There is great comparison between four decades and the present in all facet. In as much as there were gradual changes in the course of time and improvement of things that doesn't neglect the fact that there are still loophole that science hasn't filled. Follow me in this post as I share my perspective on the metamorphosis of things via science to where we are today and the vacuum that needs to be filled.

There's no doubt about the apparent successes recorded by science. There are lots of achievements deduced that science has broken records although not all of these records are ethical to me. For instance, with the recent advancement robots have been created to substitute what human beings can do. This might contradict some of our beliefs system. God created a man and woman for companionship and procreation therefore bringing a substitute for this instead of the original plan is unethical to me. How can you marry a robot? I'm not against robot totally because I know the essence of robots is to enable work to be done easily and efficiently.

Previously transportation was quite a great challenge especially when you want to cover so many miles. Donkeys, Carmel , horse etc were used which takes longer time and day. The technological advancement has really brought transformation in this area by constructing good vehicle, aeroplane, jets, etc which makes transportation easy and less time consuming. I could remember when I travelled to Lagos by road(bus)from Jos plateau hmmm we spent more than 17hours though the bus consumes too much fuel. I couldn't return by same means again. I came back by flight in just less than two hours I landed in Jos. These are undisputable benefits of science and technology.

Science has really advanced in the area of communication. I remembered in Nigeria many years ago there wasn't telecommunications services. You have to travel miles before you deliver a message but it has been soften with the introduction of mobile phones, internet services. The only challenge I have with the internet services is the rate of nudity. I don't support pornography to be so open like this. It can easily corrupt people especially the younger ones. Just imagine the advert of a deep refrigerator with a naked woman by the side... I can infer the relationship between fridge and naked woman. To me this is not ethical.

As I conclude, science has really done so much however there are certain vehicles constructed today need to be improved. I remember a product from Toyota in those my lecturer bought it and later it was announced that they should return it because a fault has been discovered that must be fixed. Hmmmm I don't know whether that has been done or not and I don't know whether he succeeded in telling us just lies... Whatever might be the case, vehicles should be tested and trusted before being released to the market.
The relevance of science outweighs other negative impact.
