¡Nuevo Router! Upgrade a la fibra óptica (en/es)

Saludos queridos compañeros.

El día de hoy estoy bastante alegre y motivado debido a un upgrade sumamente necesario que venía necesitando desde hace mucho tiempo.

Y es que desde que adquirí el servicio de fibra óptica hace más de un año y medio hasta ahora no había podido tener la oportunidad de comprar un router adecuado para este servicio lo cual limitaba muchísimo el uso del internet, usar un router no adecuado ocasionaba constantes caídas en el servicio, y también se veía reflejado en una constante latencia o lentitud que podía llegar a desesperar un poco sobre todo si tenía que atender alguna reunión importante de trabajo.

Pero claro poder adquirir un router nuevo conlleva un gran sacrificio ya que con tantas necesidades diarias tendría que ir reuniendo de a poco para poder lograrlo y aunque me tardé bastante finalmente hoy lo he logrado. Por fin he podido adquirir un router que soporte doble banda que sea multifuncional y que va a mejorar mucho la experiencia al usar el internet.

El modelo que adquirí fue un Mercusys AC10, modelo básico pero potente en lo referente a la fibra óptica. Ya que es un modelo de router con muchísimas capacidades y lo mejor que es algo que me gusta muchísimo es que es muy fácil de configurar y usar al administrar las redes equipos y ver quién está robando tu wifi 🤣.

Today I am quite happy and motivated due to a very necessary upgrade that I have been needing for a long time.

Since I acquired the fiber optic service more than a year and a half ago until now I had not been able to have the opportunity to buy a router suitable for this service which greatly limited the use of the internet, using a router not suitable caused constant falls in the service, and was also reflected in a constant latency or slowness that could become a little desperate especially if I had to attend an important work meeting.

But of course to be able to acquire a new router entails a great sacrifice since with so many daily needs I would have to go gathering little by little to be able to achieve it and although it took me a long time finally today I have achieved it. Finally I have been able to acquire a router that supports dual band that is multifunctional and that will greatly improve the experience when using the internet.

The model I purchased was a Mercusys AC10, a basic model but powerful in terms of fiber optics. Since it is a router model with many capabilities and the best thing that is something that I really like is that it is very easy to configure and use to manage networks equipment and see who is stealing your wifi 🤣.

De aspectos interesantes que tiene este router (esta información la tomé viendo las características de la caja y el manual) es que en primer lugar es multimodo ya que tiene un extensor de rango, una configuración de punto de acceso muy sencilla y es un router muy potente. Luego tenemos que tiene configuración y ISP.

Además cuenta con dos bandas la de 5 ghz con una velocidad máxima de 867 mb, y la banda de 2.4 ghz con una velocidad máxima de 300 mb. Además cuenta con un nivel de 5 dbi en las antenas, lo cual hace que tenga un alcance bastante amplio. También cuenta con un control parental bastante útil en caso de que quieras limitar las conexiones a internet de tus hijos después de ciertas horas. Soporta ipv6, y tiene una alta frecuencia MU-MIMO.

De lo que más me gusta de este router es que gracias a que es de doble banda se puede disfrutar de una velocidad tres veces más rápida lo cual es ideal para ver películas en streaming en HD y para jugar online sin tener tanto lag, lo cual es ideal ya que actualmente al ver películas o series de manera streaming constantemente se paraba para recargar y era muy molesto a la hora de disfrutar de streaming, lo mismo a la hora de jugar online constantemente se me caían las partidas y perdía (claro también es porque soy manco 🤣🤣)

Entre las cosas que trae la caja es el router modelo ac10 trae también el transformador trae un manual de instalación rápida y adicionalmente trae un cable rj45 qué día del módem al router.

De por sí al ver los materiales que trae la caja se puede notar bastante calidad y como en ocasiones anteriores he usado muchos dispositivos de esta misma marca puedo constar de que son verdaderamente duraderos y que vale la pena invertir en ellos. Y por si fuera poco me atrae muchísimo la idea de que estos dispositivos tengan un año de garantía con la marca lo cual hace que la confianza en esta submarca crezca muchísimo.

Así que en conclusión estoy bastante contento por este logro que finalmente después de un año y medio lo he podido conseguir no ha sido nada fácil y en el trayecto se ha tenido que sacrificar cosas pero es por un bien común que puede traer muchísimos beneficios dentro de que los destaco es mejorar mi contenido en la plataforma de Hive y mejorar por 1000 la calidad de mi trabajo.
