Two Android apps that help me during earthquakes (Esp/Eng)

Hola amados, desde el día 24 donde hubo el mayor suceso en nuestro país con respecto a los dos terremotos, han sido días de mucho estrés, angustia, del que hemos tenido que aprender sobre la marcha, ya que, como dije en mi anterior publicación, no tenemos cultura ni preparación para esto.
También conté que Android tiene un sistema que avisa segundos antes de un terremoto de gran magnitud como el que tuvimos, pero solo si lo activas, yo no lo tenía activado, el teléfono de mi hijo si, efectivamente si mostró la alerta pero no sabíamos qué era.
Hemos tenido miles de réplicas desde entonces, cada diez minutos aproximadamente ocurre una, si no es en mi ciudad Maracay, es en la zona más afectada La Guaira, por otro lado he estado viendo que ahora las réplicas se extienden a otras zonas del país afortunadamente de menor grado.
Mi casa sufrió muchos daños, ya no la siento segura, por lo que es alarmante no estar prevenido ante sismos pequeños o grandes.
Entre amistades y familiares comenzó a circular estas dos aplicaciones, me han servido de mucha ayuda para monitorear cada evento. Creo que es bueno las comparta.

Hello, my dear friends. Since the 24th, when our country experienced the most significant events in the form of the two earthquakes, these have been days of great stress and anxiety, from which we’ve had to learn as we go along, since, as I said in my previous post, we have neither the culture nor the preparation for this.
I also mentioned that Android has a system that alerts you seconds before a major earthquake like the one we experienced, but only if you’ve activated it. I hadn’t activated it, but my son’s phone had, and it did indeed display the alert, though we didn’t know what it was.
We’ve had thousands of aftershocks since then; one occurs roughly every ten minutes. If it’s not in my city, Maracay, it’s in the worst-hit area, La Guaira. I’ve also noticed that the aftershocks are now spreading to other parts of the country, though fortunately they’re of a lesser magnitude.
My house has suffered a lot of damage; I no longer feel safe there, which is why it’s alarming not to be prepared for earthquakes, whether small or large.
These two apps have started doing the rounds amongst friends and family; they’ve been a great help to me in monitoring each event. I think it’s a good idea to share them.

Sismo detector:
Esta aplicación toma los datos de diferentes fuentes, desde FUNVISIS, has organismos meteorológicos internacionales verificados. Sin embargo, a veces se satura dado a la cantidad de información y usuarios de estos últimos días.
Se atrasa un poco en mostrar el tiempo real de cada evento, pero me gusta porque tiene modo de alerta antes de un evento grande y puedes personalizar su alerta a la frecuencia.
Puedes personalizar la aplicación a colores y datos de interés, además cuenta con mapa de eventos y puedes hacer reportes si has sentido un sismo en tiempo real, el sistema recopila la información y si hay muchos usuarios reportando también avisa, ya que en la página oficial Funvisis tarda mucho en poner la información.
Por lo saturado que se encuentra y a veces tarda en dar una alerta no es un sistema muy confiable, pero me ha sido de gran ayuda.

This app draws data from various sources, ranging from FUNVISIS to verified international meteorological organisations. However, it sometimes becomes overloaded due to the volume of information and the number of users in recent days.
It is slightly delayed in displaying the real-time details of each event, but I like it because it has an alert mode that warns you before a major event, and you can customise the frequency of these alerts.
You can customise the app’s colours and the data displayed; it also features a map of events and allows you to report earthquakes in real time. The system compiles the information and, if many users are reporting an event, it will also issue a warning, as the official FUNVISIS website takes a long time to update its information.
Because it gets so overloaded and sometimes takes a while to issue an alert, it isn’t a very reliable system, but it has been a great help to me.

Earthquake
Está disponible para varios dispositivos no solo Android. Su interfaz es muy pero muy sencilla, la versión gratuita que es la que tengo no cuenta con sistemas previsivos de alarmas, sin embargo es muy bueno para monitorear la actividad sísmica, ya que al igual que la otra, recopila la información de diversas fuentes oficiales y las presenta de forma ordenada y precisa.
Cuando la otra aplicación está saturada, me guío de esta para ver la magnitud de cada suceso. Para ayudarme a diferenciar si los movimientos que sentí fueron cosa de mis nervios o si fue producido por un sismo.
También cuenta con un modo de aviso si sientes un sismo y puedes alertar antes, seleccionando el tiempo y el nivel que disponen con ejemplos de imágenes.

No me queda más que decir, deseando todos se encuentren bien, ante lo afectada que he estado por todo esto a nivel emocional, mental y físico, mi hogar y los cortes de servicio eléctrico, no he podido compartir mucho, sin embargo les envío buenas vibras y bendiciones.

It’s available for various devices, not just Android. Its interface is very, very simple; the free version – which is the one I have – doesn’t include any early warning systems, but it’s very good for monitoring seismic activity, as, like the other app, it gathers information from various official sources and presents it in a clear and accurate way.
When the other app is overloaded, I use this one to check the magnitude of each event. It helps me work out whether the tremors I felt were just my nerves playing up or were actually caused by an earthquake.
It also has an alert mode: if you feel an earthquake, you can set an early warning by selecting the time and intensity level, with example images provided.

All that’s left for me to say is that I hope everyone is well. Given how deeply affected I’ve been by all this – emotionally, mentally and physically – and with my home and the power cuts, I haven’t been able to share much; however, I’m sending you all good vibes and blessings.
Ambas aplicaciones no son confiables como método de alerta sísmica o terremoto, pero es una gran ayuda para monitorear los eventos.
Neither app is reliable as a method of seismic or earthquake alerting, but they are a great help in monitoring events.
