¡Hola amantes del retro music!

Hoy vamos a pasarla bien escuchando buena música al ritmo del reggae, te traigo tres canciones imperdibles que seguro traerán buenas memorias para ti o para que las conozcas y espero que sean de tu agrado, ya sabes que yo comparto aquí lo mejor de lo mejor en cuanto a lo retro, basado en lo que más se escuchaba en aquellos tiempos, hablamos de los años 70's, 80'sy 90's que son eras doradas para mí y la generación X aprecia y algunos de la generación millennials.

El género musical reggae nació en Jamaica y se expandió en el mundo entero, su influencia hizo desarrollar en muchas personas un estilo rasta, tal como los amantes del rock con un estilo de vestuario negro, cadenas, maquillaje, mientras que con el reggae pude ver que hubo más estilo "hippie" con ropas rasgadas, muy relajadas, así como "tranquilo hermano, relájate, no hay rollo" ¡Jajajja! Me encanta.

Finalmente el ritmo llega a las discotecas, minitecas, matinés y podrías notar que el ambiente cambiaba radicalmente, que luego de ser bullicioso, las personas entraban en un modo de relajación muy extraño (altamente influyente), esto os digo porque recién acudí a un encuentro de compañeros de secundaria y escuchamos música del ayer, y al entrar una canción del desaparecido Bob Marley, nosotros que en su mayoría somos rockeros, en seguida entramos "en ambiente" Es un sentimiento extraño del estado mental que produce, modo relajación, solo estábamos tomando café. Indudablemente existe sensación de alegría, amor y paz.

Me hizo tan feliz esos momentos que no dudé en compartir un pedazo de alegría con ustedes, hacerles recordar, escuchen, esta música no solo se siente, se medita, se vive, se disfruta.

Today we are going to have a good time listening to good music to the rhythm of reggae, I bring you three unmissable songs that will surely bring good memories for you or for you to know them and I hope they are to your liking, you know that I share here the best of the best in terms of retro, based on what was most heard in those times, we are talking about the 70's, 80's and 90's which are golden eras for me and generation X appreciates and some of the millennials generation.


The reggae music genre was born in Jamaica and spread all over the world, its influence made many people develop a rasta style, just like rock lovers with a style of black clothing, chains, makeup, while with reggae I could see that there was more "hippie" style with ripped clothes, very relaxed, as well as "chill bro, relax, no roll" Hahahaha! I love it.


Finally the rhythm arrives to the discos, minitecas, matinees and you could notice that the atmosphere changed radically, that after being boisterous, people entered a very strange mode of relaxation (highly influential), this I tell you because I just went to a meeting of high school classmates and we listened to music of yesterday, and when entering a song of the late Bob Marley, we who are mostly rockers, immediately we entered "in environment" It is a strange feeling of mental state that produces, relaxation mode, we were just drinking coffee. Undoubtedly there is a feeling of joy, love and peace.

Sunshine Reggae pertenece al dúo musical Laid Back del Reino de Dinamarca, un sencillo perteneciente al álbum Keep Smiling cuyo lanzamiento fue en el año 1983 y que al igual que la canción anterior, del mismo año, tuvo mucho éxito internacional, esta banda y la canción tiene varias curiosidades como: el vídeo oficial fue grabado en Sri Lank y las escenas representan a dos personas aburridas con muchas ganas de pasarla bien y mezclarse con las personas de la playa, sin dejar de ser aburridas, es curioso como muestra ser "aburridos pero con mucho estilo".

La banda o el dúo musical lo componen los cantantes: Tim Stahl y John Guldberg y siguen activos en la actualidad.

Las letras de la canción realmente no son algo donde exista muchas cosas qué decir, se compone de una estrofa que se repite durante toda la canción lo cual la hace muy fácil de aprender y dejarse levar, entre la melodía y lo que narra, tratando de sacarle una sonrisa a una chica e invitándola a pasarla bien, con buena vibra junto a ellos.

Creo que este estilo musical (Reggae) podría definirse en un dos frases: "pasarla bien" y "movimiento rastafari".

Una de las otra scuriosidades sobre este grupo musical es la influencia que ejerció a nivel mundial el género musical reggae y a pesar de que es parte del movimiento rastafari de personas afrodescendientes, el dúo musical es completamente diferente, todos adoptamos el estilo en todo aspecto, de vez en cuando me encanta ponerme unas rastas o trenzas y sentirme libre.

Sunshine Reggae fue en los 80´s un himno en mi localidad, toda miniteca, matiné, fiesta, discoteca, la debía poner para complementar todo el ambiente festivo de compartir con amigos y pasarla bien.

Sunshine Reggae belongs to the musical duo Laid Back from the Kingdom of Denmark, a single belonging to the album Keep Smiling whose release was in 1983 and that like the previous song, of the same year, had much international success, this band and the song has several curiosities such as: the official video was recorded in Sri Lank and the scenes represent two boring people eager to have a good time and mingle with the people on the beach, while remaining boring, it is curious as it shows being "boring but with style".

I think this musical style (Reggae) could be defined in two phrases: "having a good time" and "Rastafarian movement".


One of the other curiosities about this musical group is the worldwide influence of the reggae musical genre and even though it is part of the Rastafari movement of people of African descent, the musical duo is completely different, we all adopt the style in every aspect, from time to time I love to put on some dreadlocks or braids and feel free.


Sunshine Reggae was in the 80's an anthem in my town, every mini club, matinee, party, disco, had to play it to complement the whole festive atmosphere of sharing with friends and having a good time.

Creo que Bob le dio un sentido mucho más crudo, fuerte y con mucho sentido al reggae, todas sus canciones tienen mucho qué contar y hacernos reflexionar.

No Woman, No Cry fue lanzada en 1975 y ocupa el puesto 37 de la lista de las 500 mejores canciones de todos los tiempos, amo decir esto, de verdad que sí, porque siento que entro en el personaje de mi gran amor locutor, cuando cuenta historias, reseñas de cantantes y cancines de una forma tan apasionada que nos hace comprender mucho mejor cada artista y lo que significa las letras de cada una.

No sé si te sientes identificado conmigo, las letras de la canción dicen "mujer, no llores" y siempre termino llorando, pues la letra de la canción es tan hermosa, siento que nos dignifica, nos llena de respeto a nuestros semejantes, llorar porque nos sentimos agobiados de las situaciones, las letras de la canción nos invita a calmarnos, todo va a estar bien, así que tan bello mensaje que promueve hasta la fe, la esperanza y estas son las cosas mis amados que no puedo comprender, como algo tan bello con tan hermosas letras, cómo el reggee pudo derivar o fusionarse con otros ritmos y que nazca el Reguetón donde la gran mayoría de las letras de las canciones no tienen sentido, están mal habladas, mal pronunciadas, muchas promueven el sexo, la violencia y la falta de respeto. Son cosas que no puedo comprender y de las siempre me negaré.

¿Cómo nos perdimos por el camino? el reggae fue decretado Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad en 2018 por la UNESCO y en vez de que vamos en mejoría de estilo, siento que estamos en decadencia.

Estos artistas y estas canciones que traigo son siempre un llamado, a encontrar las raíces, volver a ellas, son lindas, aportan mucho no solo a nivel cultural sino individual, reflexivo, espiritual, ¿Cómo de allí pasamos a lo carnal y vulgar? Me perdonan mi opinión personal.

Cuando escucho cualquier canción de Bob Marley, puedo revivir a mi hermano fallecido, conectarme con él, con un pasado hermoso, puedo traerlo al presente de una manera sanadora que edifica.

Jamaica nos ha proporcionado grandes artistas y expresiones culturales que son dignas en seguir, siempre debemos tomar lo positivo para ser mejores personas cada día.

Hoy solo por hoy, suelta el teclado, escucha estas canciones y sonríe un poco.

Nunca estarás solo y no todo puede ser una calamidad, relájate.

I don't know if you feel identified with me, the lyrics of the song say "woman, don't cry" and I always end up crying, because the lyrics of the song are so beautiful, I feel that it dignifies us, fills us with respect for our fellow men, crying because we feel overwhelmed of the situations, the lyrics of the song invites us to calm down, everything will be ok, so so beautiful message that promotes even faith, hope and these are the things my beloved ones that I cannot understand, how something so beautiful with such beautiful lyrics, how reggee could derive or merge with other rhythms and that Regueton is born where the vast majority of the lyrics of the songs make no sense, they are poorly spoken, poorly pronounced, many promote sex, violence and disrespect. These are things I cannot understand and will always refuse.


How did we get lost along the way? Reggae was decreed Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2018 by UNESCO and instead of us going in improvement of style, I feel we are in decline.


These artists and these songs that I bring are always a call, to find the roots, to return to them, they are beautiful, they bring a lot not only on a cultural level but individual, reflective, spiritual, how do we go from there to the carnal and vulgar? Forgive my personal opinion.


When I listen to any Bob Marley song, I can relive my deceased brother, connect with him, with a beautiful past, I can bring him to the present in a healing way that edifies.


Jamaica has provided us with great artists and cultural expressions that are worth following, we must always take the positive to be better people every day.
