The math is not the hard part. It's understanding what the question is asking.
I have a second grader and that's his weaker front.

Other than the Monday being a number of pages instead of fraction, I think the question is not that confusing. A random adult is likely not a math person and is likely not able to remember fractions.
It is possible for a person to find the question and math confusing though.
