Looks like the first brood of sparrows living in my friend's rolled up patio curtains are now out and about playing when the sprinklers are on.

Cute birdts ;))
Brood of sparrows....nice, I haven’t heard or used such words since college days,...pack of wolves, school of fish, den of thieves....lol...the nostalgia
It was the most accurate word I could find.

I've somehow managed to attract ducks. They come early in the morning then later in the evening to eat corn I had been putting out for critters this past winter. Except none was eating it so I stopped, then when spring came I seen it had disappeared. Amazing how those ducks found it, there's a pond a few blocks up the road at the zoo but still it's surprising. They were also enjoying a mud puddle at the end of a driveway next door, I went out and bought them a small plastic pool for when the puddle dries up, they seem to be enjoying that. They were out under the hose one evening trying to sips up the water hitting the ground so I filled up their puddle for them which gave me the idea to get the small pool. Probably healthier to drink from the pool, who knows what run off from cars are in those puddles.
My friend has a pool and the ducks do stop by there from time to time. Haven't seen them this year, though.

Having the water moving would help. Just anything stop the fountain from being stagnant.
